someone plz help...i have nowere else to turn
hello everyone i just purchased a 94 fd and decided to do a few simple mods so it ran its best. i was replacing my vacuum hoses and had accidently broken the charge control seleniod nipple(i was being very careful and it still broke). i looked over the rack many times and dont see how i could get it off, i know others say its simple(just remove a few screws from each end). i am also looking for some help in replacing the seleniod, i dont know how it mounts on. i do not have the best mechanical smarts and would very much appreciate some help!!!
i live in abbottstown pennsylvania so help from anyone in my area would greatly be appreciated...i will pay whatever you ask, in reason. i can not find any mechanics who will do house calls, and dealerships would charge me crazy ammounts even to bring it in. i would also be very willing to help, i just dont know where to start.
my rx7 hasn't been running for a month now and i am going into withdraw thinking i'll never be able to drive it again...plz someone help

you do not know how glad i am to hear from you...plz give me a little time to order the charge control seleniod, possibly a week or two depending on shipment. i also dont think i have all the tools needed to get it off(heard the screws are difficult and delicate).
also if you have the need to contact me at all my number is (717)521-9616 and address is (7 spicer dr, abbottstown pa 17301) it is very easy to get to from route 30.
plz expect to be paid, i would be offended if you didnt take something for your time and consideration. and thx again, you dont know how relieved i am!!

i really did not expect replys this soon...it might take me a little while till i get all i need to replace the soleniod and get it all back together(also replacing gaskets and polishing the extention manifold). is there any way you could wait on me a little bit till i get everything worked out, then i could just give you a call and see when your in town next?
First off you need aim
Much easier to talk. I wont be around next week, but the week after I may be around. I live in in lancaster, but come home to my parents house about once every 2 weeks. If you need to order parts try ray crowe at malloy mazda. He gets you the parts very quickly, just look up the number, its on my cell, but I not near it. Just let me know, glad to help

I'm not too far from ya either, and i may have the solenoid your looking for but not positive. I am single turbo on my FD and have taken out pretty much all of the solenoids, but i'm not sure if it would be one of the ones you need. Maybe someone else on the forum could comment.
I'd be glad to lend a hand too.
