yeah sorry guys i didnt make it.. i did get done with work at like 7.. i was ready to go (sorta).. i was sitting in my living room all dressed, the canopy above my front door started to make noise and im like, uh ok its starting to rain.. so i went up to my room and undressed..it was only drizzling for like 45 min but i got really lazy real fast during that 45 min..

if you guys are doing this again next thurs, mark me down cause im all up for it.. with good weather of course.. lol

Sorry we inadvertantly ditched you on the way to Home Depot.. none of us knew where we were going. It was cool to see so many nice FD's (and C's and B's.. I loved that blue FC personally.) (Rich you and your dad's cars are beautiful.. *drool*)

Just a somewhat tangential question... how many of you are married? And those of you that are, do your spouses (male or female) mind you going out to meet other RX-7 owners and staying out late for that purpose?

btw im not married, i can hang out with whoever i want whenever i want..

 

I'm cough in jail cough..... I mean married.... My wife cant say **** cause she's on lock down watching our son!!! lol (JK)

She is cool with it cause she knows that the RX7 is one of my passions..... It's only like once or twice a week, not every night..... It would be a problem if I was going out to meet another woman........

I would hope that would be a problem... anyway, especially those with kids, if you're gone all day (assuming you're the one that works) and then continue to be gone to go to a meet (so you're out of the house from 8am or whatever until 1am the next morning), your wife (and kid) don't mind this?

aside from the couples with kids, i dont think it should be a problem in any way.. unless your relationship is not based on trust..its only a car meet like someone said only once or twice a week..

if there was a couple on this board with kids, they yeah its understandable that he/she cant make it to meets every week.. but i still dont see a problem with going to a meet at all..its only a car meet..but im not married nor have any kids so i wouldnt know

 

I'm married and my wife doesn't mind at all, she knows how I feel about the 7. I've even brought her at times, and she thinks it cool when a bunch of RX7 owners get together. She might not come with me anymore since my last Supra TT kill on the way home. She says I need to fix my ohh **** bar.

 

No she doesn't mind me being out once a week (Sometimes maybe twice).... As for our beautiful son, he's only 28 1/2 days old. He is still too young to tell the difference.... When It was just my wife and I we both hung out strong at the meets.............

When my son is old enough, all three of us will go to the meets........ Even if we have to bring two cars!

 

Ahh... do you have other things that take you away? e.g. I work out 3 days a week, from 10pm-11:30pm... I'm guessing that's why the additional day to do a car thing is a bit much for my wife...

fyi: I start working out that late since I get home from work between 7p-7:30p, and want to spend some time with my 3 year old daughter before she goes to bed.... (usually around 9pm).

I've thought about that -- but I don't want my daughter staying up that late!

 

I'll go this thursday as long as people wanna do a caravan like last thursday

I'm married, my whife is the coolest, she was never into cars but now she enjoys coming to meetings with me and chill out, she doesn't mind if I go alone either.
Most of the time I pick her up from work and come up to KOHL's, even though she might be dead tired, gotta love her...another rotorhead in the family.
