The injectors under the UIM are the primary injectors. The Secondary injectors are the ones on top of the UIM. If they are spitting fuel out through the top of the injectors, then your o-rings are leaking and that could easily cause no start or hard start issues. Could even allow the engine to run on only one rotor.

Its easy to replace the o-rings but you need to be careful when installing the injectors. Place a little bit of oil on the injector o-ring and slowly work em in to the fuel rail. They tear easier then paper.

Getting down to the injectors is the time consuming part and confusing part if you have not done it before.

Fuel is always flowing through the fuel lines that lead to the secondary injectors as well. Just a FYI. The injectors don't energize untill around 3850 rpm depending on load.

huh?

The secondaries on top of the UIM are spitting fuel out from the bottom?

From your description it sounds like the primaries. Secondaries do not energize while under 3850rpm.

I would suggest your grommets but there is not reason for the fuel to spray through the grommets since there is no pressure in the intake manifold at idle or at all with a n/a.

Ah T2. That would explain the location of them.

Even if the injectors are operating and if the grommets are bad, you still shouldn't see fuel being sprayed up. I dunno, advnace does sell grommets and orings.

For some reason, DUDE, I was thinking he had a Non Turbo. Not a turbo. That was my mistake.

Let me know when you can. I would like to dial in my AFR pretty good some day.

Is the SAFC's corrections set to anything? I wonder if someone set the SAFC to inject to much fuel. Although, if its SAFC 1, it shouldn't effect idle, but if its SAFC 2, you can adjust down to 800rpm like I do.

If you have a S4, you can adjust the idle AFR. If its a S5, you can't unless you have a SAFC2 (not 1)
Here is a howto on how to adjust the idle and idle AFR
http://howto.globalvicinity.com/gv_w...i=61&co=1&vi=1

rota u were right...it was the O ring

...my friend said it was leaking from the bottom but wen i checked it was the top
This is why I don't listen to my friends anymore. Most of the time, they have no idea what they are talking about. They call them selfs car guys, but they don't know why you need a wideband to do a proper tune and think narrow band o2 gauges are worthless
