i've recently been thinking of hosting an rx-7/rotary parts swap meet. this could be done inside or out but will require rent for the space needed to host such an event. i am well aware of what it takes to put on a venue such as this as i recently participated in hosting a gun show locally. there would be a small fee to set up parts on any amount of table or tables you should need, something like $10 per table. the tables would either be 8ft or 6ft long and there would be something like a $2 cover charge to enter the meet if it were being held indoors. the cost of the cover and tables would cover the cost of renting an indoor facility or outdoor lot. it would be a great way to sell off some parts or aquire parts that are needed. this would also be a great opportunity to get to know some of the rotary community. if there is enough interest i will host this event and make all necessary arrangements. the location would be in northern OH and a date will be set once i can determine if this is going to be worthwile. i'm not looking to profit from this as the prices are set low for tables and entry. this could be a worthwhile event if people are genuinely interested. i'm open to feedback and suggestions.

 

I'd be interested in the meet more than the ensuing swappage, but I have lots of stock parts I could get rid of. Where are you holding it? I'll be home last week of July but probably up on the islands

 

not sure where yet. i want to try and generate interest before i set everything up. call me or stop by when you get in town if you have time. i'd love to see the FD!

I think it would be a good idea, but if its anything like the few meets that go on around here, turnout is always suspect. Might not be worth it if only 5 people are gonna show.

I'd be interested! I might be able to help with having a place to have it here
in Columbus. But its outside.
