I'd be interested in going. I'm in SE Ohio and it looks like it is 3.5 hrs but if there are a lot of rotaries, that'd be cool.

I would love to attend and will pass on the information to the Cincy RX Club as soon as a location is determined. Not sure whether to drive the street car or trailer the race car.

If you are considering Mid-Ohio as a venue for anything, I would encourage you to look at KilKare. I know what Mid-Ohio costs for a day.............

Best of luck at getting it all set.

Dave

I live in Dayton, I used to live in Troy. It looks like the location will be the Hobart Arena parking lot next to the Miami river. If I can I will still try to get downtown closed off for a cruise in. Mid-Ohio isnt returning my phone calls, so I am going to get with kilkare. No promises though, although my girl modeled at the auto-rama and got me a connection with kilkares official photographer. He can us in the door for free, but track time will cost like $5-10.... not bad!

Okay, Now I need something from you.

If you will be in attendence,
I need make and model of your rotary
its year, and engine size, and color

If you would like provide a mod list, do so, you will recieve a printout with whatever you tell me in that post. you can display it if you'd like or shove it in your glovebox. It will give me an idea of how many people are coming, and if you dont show up!

So far the show itself is still free! please let me know what you guys think thus far!

Chris

Also, the guy I talked to said we will need something to distinguish ourselves. And so if you get pulled over you have a good reason to be in town, and so if the cops drive through and randomy check we will each have proof we should in fact be there. Troy cops can be ******, I will set up a card table or something where I will have these but this is your I really am allowed to be here pass. stick it under your wiper or something. the cops may not even bother us, either way better to be safe than sorry.

print this out if you'd like, because I wont have very many at the show. If enough people start posting I will get a banner printed up. most of the guys who will be hosting the show with me are pretty young so dont be to surprised. you will know who I am, silver FB with black meshies and a targa band, we will also be having a best of show comp. I dont expect to win, but I will try to give some FC and FD guys a run for their money on the track

Also, I can get a few vendors to be their also. So far Jax Wax would be there for sure, some of the locals may want to be there, I wont even invite them until I get your opinions.

If you can get it at Mid-Ohio I'm going. There is also Nelson Ledges up toward Cleveland.

I want something in proximity to Troy, some of these people will already be driving quite aways, so I want to keep it close.

I'd love to go. I'll need directions though, and hopefully by then I'll have my engine rebuilt and put in my new 7.

Also, I'll be showing up in my White 1985 GSL (Yeah, my 1983 GSL with the targa band should be there with your targa banded 7 as well, but as luck would have it the car isn't going to be ready for a while) with a 12a. Perhaps it will even be streetported by then with a new carb, but for now its stock other than exhaust.
