I cant wait to see videos though. I heard some interesting stuff happened lol.
Nobody can win with you. You dont like weekday meets. You dont like night meets. You dont like summer meets where its 75º now either. If I didnt know the very few people who told me they've actually met you before I wouldn't believe you were a real person.

Truthfully, i've done the weekday night meet a ton of times, the tuesday night meets if you search the forum, where was it mostly RX related. Not a fan and got boring for me quick, even if that spot was 1.8 miles from my house. Not worth my time when i had to get up just 4-5 hours from leaving the actual meet. It wasnt worth my sleep time.

You're in NY so the meets you're talking about are those huge meets. Etown meets, rotorfest meets, of course you wont see me. Those are annual meets lol. Held in summer, which i dont like. Your thursday meets you'll never see me as well because im not going to queens at 11pm to see a bunch of dudes when i have to get up at 430am. No thanks.

I am however at the saturday afternoon meets at whiskey cafe but none of you guys show. Im there, whether im in the FD or my other car, im there. So i dont know what you're talking about. Its not an rx7 meet, its just a car meet. You have a car, you go.

And IMO, that meet is a hell of alot better than any rx7 meet i've went. Its boring when you're at a meet where every single other car you see is the same car, or similar.

I want diversity.

Maybe you should sell that car since thy seem so boring to you. Im going to agree to some degree in the smaller meets i always said they should be merged with a larger general meet. But you make some sacrifices when its hot out to show support for a larger annual meet otherwise there wont be any because no one bothers to show up.

Wont go to smaller meets and wont go to larger meets because its too hot out, you sound like a joy to be with, lol

But to use your thinking- a Saturday afternoon meet? honestly got better things to do

Sorry, part of the criteria for owning a specific car are not attending that said cars' meets lol. Thats the worst logic ever. I love my car, i use it. I show up to meets with it. Just not rx7 meets ANYMORE. To me, they're held at the worse times (summer), at 11pm at night (sorry im not 19 anymore). If you wanna incorporate an rx7 meet on a sunday morning, or sat afternoon at the meet i go to, then yes ill be there all day with you guys. Fact is, IMHO, your meets are planned the worse. Its always been like that, from when i first started this, thats why i stopped. It wasnt worth it for me. Not saying your meets are crap, just the timing, FOR ME, is.

Btw, i am a joy to be with, thats why im always asked to go to that saturday meet lol. I was there yesterday too, left at about 8 and had a ton of time left to go eat and hit up a titty bar even if i think those are a waste of money now.

What did you do??? lol

Never said you have to attend meets, but you pass up a single large meet because it was 80 degrees and cloudy that day to show support.

Btw- I work saturdays then i like to go to dinner and long walks on the beach. I am Aquarius and would like world peace.

Why dont you plan a meet since everyone else is so shitty at it and see who shows up for it?

Rotorfest was always held in july, since i first signed up on this forum. My FD doesnt have AC, i know alot of the people who went prob never had AC but sorry im different. I need AC in summer.

Plus this year i honestly didnt even know it was held in august. I dont read the NE threads anymore unless its a topic that catches my eye. I just found out it was this weekend because of this thread and had already posted i probably wouldnt go anyway because it was my sisters bday. Btw, it was 83 degrees that day and humid lol. I know cause i was sweating my *** off on a cruise in the FD WITH NO AC lol.

I already tried to push a weekend meet a couple of years ago. No one wanted. They want a weekday night at around 10-11pm.

O well.

FYI the saturday meets i go to, are from 5-9. So you can work in the morning or do your errands, go to the meet and still have time to hang out with friends or the GF afterwards.

you are kind of wrong- rotorfest was also held in June, I specifically remember it being Father's Day one year.
Regardless you missed a great event and the weather was good for this time of the year. On the way in I almost put the heat on, nice and cool for the drive back. Lots of people racing if you wanted to join in that or got tired of checking out the cars.

So you tried to schedule a weekend meet and no one wanted to come- so someone else is saying "hey that 1quick guy cant schedule a meet for ****", lol

Lol ok June July etc. It was hot as ***** whenever this meet was scheduled. That's what i was saying.

Yes I did miss a great event. Its a rotary event and I have a rotary car I should have def went. Maybe next year hopefully.

I didn't "schedule" any weekend meet. I suggested it a couple times in random threads and people didn't want to go for it. So I stopped trying. I figure maybe you guys want diversity too which is why I did suggest the sat afternoon meet at whiskey. Tons of nice cars there. Over 100 cars every week.

If I want to cruise I round up my own "crew" and we do it. No waits no planning we just go. And yes on a weekend. Lol

its not the weather rob..nor anything else he comes up with.. its more of this..
he has no interest in the camaraderie a rotary community provides other than his own ride..
im in somewhat of an agreement with the smaller evening meets..

That's a good observation but it's partially wrong.

I like meets in general. I like cars. I'm AT car meets. Just not these anymore because like I said many times Its held at wrong times.

I did make the effort back in the day with those Tuesday night meets. It was fun at first, a couple of fd's, saw some old members I haven't seen in years. Then it got boring, it became mostly rx8's and people started to come in at 10-11 when the meet started at 8. So how can i enjoy when 10 is about the time I should be leaving? I have to get up at 430am. I won't sacrifice sleep because of a meet.

The carlisi meet that I will try to go. Maybe in my other car though since I'm working on the fd little by little. I just hope I'm not working that sat.

The fronts look like the set Corksport used to sell. I think they may have been Panspeed knockoffs.
