Guess they didnt have the right contacts.
Jay call me so we can discuss, i have other people in CT that got great connections with Mazda N.A, there from the Miata club. Gotta give it up to LIMEROCK we made some great contacts at the Mazdaspeed Corral.
EDIT: I also contacted the guys at Sevenstock about the name ROTORSTOCK, dont wanna step on their feet so to speak. So will get back to you on that.

I also just sent a few e-mails to Mazda N.A. asking for some feedback on a Sevenstock type event on the east coast.

It all depends on who you contact and how you approach it. I am in the Auto Industry for 15 years now and I have been at alot of the Company only events, The only way to get one of these done is to know the right people.

^^ yeah i got connections with mazdaspeed and jay got connections with Mazda N.A and so doest the guy from the miata club. Were gonna make this happen with our without sponsors just to let you know, but we WOULD Love to have mazda involved since we got mazda cars lol

We would llove this cuz RF left a bad taste in many peoples mouth, but its too short of a notice. You guys can come to the next nyra meet, we have meets averaging between 50-70 cars, thats like a mini event in itself.
We normally hold em in state parks and they charge $6 per VEHICLE lol not per person. We all bring food and set up shop and look at our cars for free, eat food, and meet new people, and get advice on our cars with great public restrooms, shade and benches that have wood on them

the meet should be ata real road course. id have no prob spending 300 for a meet where itd be open track day, 300 would weed out any douchebags just there to show off and ruin it....lime rock, beaverun,. pocono, wherever....
