Rotary engine rebuild on the east coast
I'm looking to do some work on an Rx7, engine rebuild and other upgrades. does anyone have any suggestions or someone they can refer me to that's based here on the east coast, close to ny? i know of places down south like pettit racing and midwest like the rx7 store in OH.. i need something a lot closer. thanx
IRP is located in mid NJ they do excelent work, have never heard anything bad, nore do i have any bad experiences
there fast, very professional, and unlike other shops..they dont make you wait forever, they will work with your schedule to get your car looked at as soon as possible.
and they have the "do it right the first time mentality"
and finaly being a mechanic myself(though not rotor related...well yet) i noticed they also dont have the "im smarter then you so shut up" feel to them, they talk with you, explain everything, tell you why things happened.
oh and there not stupid expensive
hope that helps
if your interested let either me no,

There's a thread at the top of this section with Tuners/engine builders. Do a search on whomever you choose. A rotary is a very specific trade and not many do the job right. Something just as important as the build itsself would be tuning after the motor is in. Alot of shops can build you a motor, but don't have the slightest clue about tuning your car.
