ok so i have a few stupid questions

first off are the dashes the same between the s4 and s5
and the second is do any of yall know pick and pull yards that have any rx7's in them bc im in desperate need of a dash in better shape then mine almost al of the important screw holes in mine are broke due to brittleness

They very rarely show up in any of the yards around here.

For the most part the S4's and S5's have the same dash, the only difference is the trim around the stereo is different, which isn't integral at all.

dead_fc 03-01-14 09:02 PM

Good to know bc my dash is about done

Just do a search for the LED TPS calibration. You can buy two LEDs from Radio Shack for a dollar or two, wire them up according to directions here on the forum, hook it up, have it done in a matter of minutes!

For those unaware I am back in Richmond, edited the location on my profile and everything.

Cookboy 07-14-14 04:21 PM

Nice to see some activity here. I'm here 5 doors from St. Mary's Hospital.

Both my kids were born in that hospital.
Have you been to the Friday night Starbucks meet?
It's usually every Friday starting at 8pm at the Starbucks on Huguenot Rd by the Nickel Bridge.

Cookboy 07-15-14 06:37 AM

All 4 of mine were. You mean Huguenot bridge, yes. I make it twice a month usually. Probably won't this week, wife going out of town.

I've been in Richmond 4 months now and did not know about this. I have plans this Friday but I'll start coming out.

yes that one, was a regular for quite some time - I know Jordan (flat black MR2), Pierce (my old black RX7 or one of umpteen million cars he owns), Garret (Miata), and a couple other Miata guys

I need to get out more

Dylan Wolf 07-16-14 12:13 AM

you could be if you want

all depends what you're looking for

jobs -VA's got them

colleges - we got lots of those too

low taxes/low cost of living - yup, unless you move to northern VA around the DC beltway
you ban buy a nice little 3bdrm brick ranch house in a GOOD part of town for $150K (half that for a shitty neighborhood)

beaches - got those too

mountains with twisty roads - yup

VIR
RIR
and a host of small tracks

if you smoke VA has low prices on cigs

Richmond alone has several Microbrews and a couple of micro distilleries

What are you looking for Dylan?

started a new job last week
so I should get all caught up on bills soon
and I can get the Miata and the 911 back on the road

right now if I hit Starbux on a Friday night it will be with the whole family in tow
or I'll be in the wife's Integra, which is quickly becoming my car apparently
I have to commute down your way, the place I work at is just off Willis road

additionally I'm trying to fast track getting debt free, so the 911 will hopefully be getting sold by end of year

niburu 07-17-14 06:58 AM

I may also have re-institute operation "Dave wins the lottery" strategy.

niburu 08-18-14 08:33 AM

OK so the Huegesnot Bridge Stabux location is going to close at 8:00 on Fridays now, which is kinda when the meet normally starts.
I say we need at least one Starbux OG Meet at the old location up on Broad and Cox.
And if it works out we continue from there.
If Zack, Alex, and Robin would show up that would be great ....... if they even read this thread anymore.

rgordon1979 08-18-14 08:51 AM

I live in Raleigh now, so it is a bit tougher for me to make it out these days!

Otherwise I would be there at least every few weeks.

Zach is in the final stages of a LS E30 build...he needs to show up with that.

Saavedro88 08-18-14 09:03 AM

I know for me personally, I wont go if we do it all the way up on broad street.

Saavedro88 08-18-14 10:27 AM

Lol, I just don't like driving all the way up there, it's like 25-30 minutes in Friday night traffic.

at least 10 minutes from my house to 288
at least 10 minutes to get to sbux from that point of entry on 288
= 20 minutes minimum unless someone wrecks coming out of Cap One and 288 gets all kinds of backed up

WCC or Cox/Broad is really an even split for me
