the only thing even remotely related I got is the RB torque brace
I assume you've looked in the NE for sale section up above
so is there a particular set/brand you are loooking for?
and a price range would be good to, we might be able to find new in your range somewhere depending on what you wanna do

Anything brand wise, RB, cusco, and anything suspension.
Price range is depending on what someone has.

I'm asking this again cause I didn't get any news about it last time.
so.....I'm going to be putting my new axle in my 83 soon. the axle is from a 82 with 112,000 miles on it..... my question is do i need to tear is apart to make sure all the gears are fine, or just change the fluid out and slap it in? Thanks for the info.

If I knew the answer, I would certainly help.

Hey out there...I'm looking for some friendly advice...I've got an 88 10th anniversary turbo...all original...I replaced the motor w/ a Mazda reman a while back...some years but only 10k miles on it and i blew the rear apex seals...I have the motor out of the car...thought about tearing it down myself but second guessing that thought. I'm looking for someone in and around the central VA area, a shop, a person, whatever, that can help. I am not looking for a hand out. I am in Midlothian and can bring the engine to you...please help if you can...just looking for some advice...I have owned this car since 91 and desperately want to get her back on the road...thanks...
Richard Mitchum is on Research Rd. Right off of Route 60/Midlo Tpk.
There is also Kevin Landers, who you could have the engine shipped to if he is taking orders. www.rotaryresurrection.com
I would love to do another build if I had the time, but the fall semester is about to start.

On another note, there is a reason your engine died so quickly. The cause may not have been the engine itself, but the boost control system or fuel related to cause such an early failure from pre-ignition or detonation. I would make sure that the problem is diagnosed at the same time as the rebuild.

how is everyone doing?? sooo....I am confused that I cannot find a new intake manifold for the nikki carb in my 83?? Does anyone know if they make them and where ever I can get one. I've looked at the RB website and they have them for their holley carb set ups, but I'm trying to stick with the nikki, because I'm going to rebuild it and mod it out for street performance. So If anyone knows anything about this problem I have please let me know, Thanks.

I was just looking for a new clean one......the one I have is very dirty and caked with debris.
so, is this hole normally looking.....with all the debris caked on there, or is it in bad shape?

your best bet would be to ask over in the first gen section, if you haven't already
also to me it looks like with some time, some parts cleaner, and a wire brush it would clean uo just fine
you could also look into porting while your at it
see if Mazdatrix has any thing for 12A Nikki's

yes, I did ask over in the first gen section, still waiting on a response. But I thought it would be nice to ask over here since it is a va fourm. The (hole) picture that stuff in like crusted on there, almost looks like it was put on in the factory, cause it goes all the way back into the hole, not like just the top or bottom it is everywhere, and only in those two holes. are you talking about porting the manifold, of the engine housing? thanks for you help.

Hey guys, I have decided to part my car out, the engine has something going on with it after I put it together (idle is funny) and I am sick to death of dealing with low ballers because of that. I also ran out free time with too many cars.
Which is why i sold my FC a year ago.
The Porsche is worth too much, I need the BMW for a daily/family car (added one more kid to the family this weekend).
And the Miata is a better overall car except in the power department - it's cheaper, more reliable, handles better, it's cheaper, more aftermarket support, it's easier to work on.
The great downside is it's slower.....but it's soooo much more fun to drive.

Yeah I am trying to focus my projects down. I have a 914, that has been screaming for my attention for way to long. Between motorcycles, Cars, work and housing projects I struggle to get anything done. Congrats on the addition to the fam! I have yet to go down that path....definitely a big time consumer, big props for keeping up the projects you do!
