Well motor+tranny+wire harness is out laying on floor. Found out the reason why motor was running so shitty, half of the lines off the intercooler were not clamped and hanging off. Then the cat, or downpipe was clogged up,and it had a broken pass. side motor mount, along with no air filter, turbo seams to be alright no shaft play. Gotta order some parts, ACV block off, oil pan gasket(someone jacked it up on the pan), exhaust, and gaskets for the shifter and the bushing, and ill be ready to put it in the vert.

If you need some quick and local S4 TII parts, let me know. I've got a whole garage full of stuff.

For example, I have a completely UNCRACKED S4 turbo manny. I was so amazed when I pulled it off. They are ALWAYS cracked.

ANywho, if you need something, drop and line.

DUDE SWEET

Ok, so should I do a TII conversion for the GTU with some sort of standalone instead of buying a carb & intake manifold for the N/A for $900?

Well I've only got one complete turbo motor. What I have lots of, and am looking to get rid of, is stuff like:
2 sets of S4 TII intake manifolds, with tb's, tps, etc.
2 top mount IC's
S4 turbo in need of rebuild
UNCRACKED S4 turbo manifold
Grey rear back seats
Bunches of oil coolers
2 S4 turbo wiring harnesses (one all stock with S5 injector plugs, one stripped of all emissions)
2 S4 tubro ECU's

Stuff like that.

probably gonna bump a lot of this stuff to the general for sale section soon. just let me know what you need guys.

Hello, I am buying a 3rd gen 7 and I wanted to know if you all knew of any good shops to get my engine/turbos rebuilt around here in Richmond or NOVA. Also if you all know appx how much this process costs it would be a big help so that I know upfront what I need to put aside. I am getting a 93 black FD within the next few weeks. It has 62k miles on it but I am sure it will need the rebuild soonish. I will get it compression tested but I just wanted to get a heads up before it arrives.

Thanks for any help,
Shogun

dang

so...for the last month or 2 there's been a white fc, series 5 just sitting on brook road with "free to tow" written all over it...we tried to get info on it, it was registered in nc somewhere and i was gonna tow it...finally go tthe money and the time and a truck, rented a tow dolly...car was gone...so i got screwed out of 50 bux by uhaul...lesson learned, CHECK twice...anyway, if any of you guys saw it, see it, or got it yourselves, lemme know, it had a bunch of parts on it i desperatley needed and free was gonna be real cheap...anyway...keep em turnin, watch for pedestrians...10 points for the elderly and all that...

Well I DO have a complete S5 TII shortblock, but I haven't really been trying to get rid of it. THen again, almost everything has a price.

Come by a set of manifolds and an ECU and a harness or something. I know you got da chedda!

BTW, I've got like 5 UPS packages on the way to me right now...dont break any of my ****! Especially my intercooler...I've already spent too much on it.
