ok im curious what exactly happened at G-force?i went to g-force sunday and ran a new best/shity time of 28.52 i was still trying to figure out that hairpin.well ive been very lazy lately,i havent worked on my car,been looking at deals on junk RX7's to play with.My friend is still looking for a vert but in the meantime we are going to get a hardtop and play with that,until we find a vert.

btw:joe lol i had the same fun on my dads GTU i just cut the plates with a dremel and fit them in there and put the covers back on to hide my handy work

During the enduro race a few sundays ago gray had a mishap and his front end ended up under one of the barriers. I am sure he will be happy to tell you the full story.

Ok the full story.

First of all i would like to tell everyone that i am not a bad driver, i have proof in the plaques and trophies I have for my autox racing.

With that said. We qualified 8th which gaves us the #8 go cart. This cart was all over the place like a drunk sorority girl in a frat house. I mean i could not get it find a line, I set up a for a turn and I looked like a guy from Signal Auto Japan drifting around the turn. 6 other people can contest to this fact of the cart.

Well near the end of my 30mins of driving i was going into the back kink turns i think turn 12-14 and there was a fellow on my rear I was far enough ahead of him that i did not have to wave him by. However going into the third to last turn i hit the brakes late so as I could actually take the turn at speed. Well he hit me full throttle and used me for stoper, well that was cool i really didnt care bec well hell i was in front of him. Then going into turn 14 he I was loose going into the turn bec of the cart so i was trying to correct and bam he hit me again. WEll, i tried to save the cart by correct using the gas to swing the back end around but by then i was looking at the wall and i went straight under it, causing serious whiplash

Zach, I hate to tell you this but I would rather let you know now than Friday. I called rx7store.net b/c I have not recieved an email saying the clutch was shipped. They begin by saying the clutch is not in stock and it is going to take a week or so to arrive there and another 3-4 to get to me. I told them somebody told me Monday that it would be shipped out THAT day and would be here by Friday b/c that is when I needed it. He proceeded to put me on eternal hold again. He comes back and says he 'found one in the back' and that it would be shipped out today. I asked him how they shipped and he said UPS Ground. I said so it probably won't be here by friday WHEN I NEED IT. He was like, oh yeah, you are right. Anyway, he shipped it out today via 2 day FED EX...so he says. We will see. Sorry for the long post.

I meant defensive about the perception of his driving skills.
I think those who have been on the track will know that its just racing. Those who haven't have nothing on you since they don't even have the guts to drive. Thats my take on what other people think. I know you can drive, and my judgement on someones driving skills has nothing to do with one or two incedents that stand out. It's often the things other people don't notice that stand out to me. Besides, I've been in the wall plenty of times in these things:

Am I a bad driver? Of course not.
The only people on the track that I think "what the **** are you doing" are usually people that are close to my pace doing stupid **** that holds me up. In that same race, the guy in 6th jumped the start and immediately got in front of me. He proceded to block me, not just in the way but blocking dive bombing me after I pass him, ect, for the next 10 laps it seemed. I overtook him without touching him a couple times but he made easy passes on me since I slowed down to make the pass. The solution? I put him in the wall and pulled a second a lap on him after that. Just some kid who failed to realize in an endurance race you pass as efficiently as possible. Since he didn't want to play my way, I moved him.
Thats my story for today.
Kai, I'll get that stuff fixed next time I'm on the computer. I'm burned out since I've spent so much time getting those profiles up.

Just wanted to throw up the offer, I got a coupon from the *barf* dealership for a 89.95 full alignment. Anyone wants it, just tell me.

On a side note, I may have to do my suspension in bits and pieces. So I think I am going to order the AGX struts/shocks and rear link on monday, and on the next pay period pick up the GC coilovers...

On an unrelated note...my tranny drips a very small amount of fluid, my turbo is making a SLIGHT noise (bearing...i'm surprised it's lasted to 101K with my driving)...geez...not to mention the other small things.

whats going on march 1st?I only live couple of miles from the dragstrip so i will probably be there,im not working so if nothing else is going on i might run my car if its running,me and a buddy just adopted 2 more RX7's we picked one up about 10 miles from the house and went to roanoke sat. and picked up another both are 87 SE's ones an auto and the other a 5 speed,i got both of them running today the 5speed i think has a broken apex seal (no power and exhaust gets cherry red) the auto runs excellent but the oil seals are shot(cant see the woods after 5 min. of running)we are going to rebuild 1 for sure but not sure what we gonna do with the other.heres a pic of them both.[IMG]C:\My Documents\2 87 SE.JPG[/IMG][IMG]C:\My Documents\2 87 SE rear pic.JPG[/IMG]
