Queens NYC Thursday Night Weekly Meet

Firing this up for the coming Thursday. I will be avail after 5:00PM and will be attending the usual meet along with a few others who plan on showing up after 8:00PM. Weather is getting warm, come out guys.

BTW, I spoke with some guys at mazdaspeedforum.org and clubroadster.net. They have weekly Thurs night (7:30PM) meets as well. Though they are located in the Douglaston Plaza right off the LIE/Cross Island (~5-10 east of Flushing Meadows).
I might want to merge everyone to that location for an all Mazda meet. The multi-level parking structure should be able to house their 10-12 members plus us without a problem. There are shops and restaurants, not to mention adequate shelter from the weather, so it is extra convenient. I am going to pass by on Thursday at Douglaston to scope out their meet before Flushing Meadows.

This would be a great location and convenient for all. But please if we're going to move to this location please be on your best behavior. NO BS, revving, racing, speeding...etc. This is a quiet location that have very **** neighbors. They will not hesitate to call the 111th precint to kick us out for any nonsense.
So yes, the meet is on at the regular Flushing Meadows Park for us THIS COMING THURSDAY at 8:00PM.

noodle_boy yeah I know we spoke, but that was on FB not on the forum... still pissed you did not come to the party in December. was ready for round two.
Yeah weather is looking a little iffy. and yeah people have trouble getting there at 8 and even 9 and even 10 sometimes.
And most people won't come in the rain, there cars don't see rain. hell there is even a guy who wont come out if there is over a 50% chance of rain... usually at the end of the meet we roll out on the highway to cherry valley for some food and then all depart from there.

Lol yeah man I apologize about that. I wanted to but I think there was something else I hadda go to. You should do something in the summer, I'll bring beer. Lol I remember those jell-o shots that you didn't know which was what.
And yeah the original plan was 8.when the meets first started but them people decided 9 then 10. We had people showing up at 11 even. Lol
Damn I miss cherry valley. And that "casual drive" we used to do to get there. Lol.
