Quality of Gas/ Different Brands

i ran across this thread in the race car tech section and it was pretty interesting.

https://www.rx7club.com/race-car-tech-103/shell-chevron-76-a-565719/

does anyone have any information about the differences in quality across the different brands in our area?

is there any way to test the actual quality of gas? in a lab or at home.

heh, at home test... Does it ignite? **** yeah! boom!

My big question is which gas stations are using a high ethanol volume in their gas. Wawa uses greater then 10 volume percent, thats why you see their warnings about using it in boats and so-forth.

I've noticed that when I use wawa gas I get very poor gas mileage and the car runs poorly and misfires. However when I use as citgo station I typically get very good gas mileage.

Sunoco or exxon. Quiet a few members have filled up at others with single turbo set-ups. And the first time into boost lost the motor. I have a few sunocos around me. I am willing to drive the extra 10 minutes to get good gas rather than wawa 2 minutes up the road. Just my opinion

There is a sunoco on Bel air road right next to Jones Junction. One at the end of 543 past the 95 exit...and one if you jump on 95 and take the maryland house exit.
