Quad For Sale
I know this belongs in Fs section but I figured you local guys might be interested
The ‘beast”
1998 Yamaha Warrior 350
I’m the 3rd owner and do have the title
I bought this quad off my college roommate 2 years ago. Rode it about 10-15 times, then we stopped riding. He sold his raptor, and my other buddies got stolen, so I have no one to ride with and no time to ride as it is. Hasn’t been driven much in the last year, I would drive it around my front yard, across a framers lot across the street. Quad is nicely modified, as anyone who has ridden a warrior knows their underpowered. (Or I just have a real problem with speed addiction)
Ive pretty much replaced most of the quad.
Mods include
K&N filter, W/outerwears prefilter
Dynojetkit,with new needle
Ported intake and exhaust ports (ports done by yours truly)
Fresh valve job with new valves and new valve seats (2rides old)
Bored w/ Wiesco .040 piston
HotCams stage 1 cam
WhiteBros, E-series slip on w/all the disks in
Down 1 tooth in front, up2 in the back (sunstar sprocket up front, and aluminum out back)
New520 Chain
Aluminum swing arm skid plate
Aluminum parking brake cover
Custom Led brake light (works off front and rear brakes)
New Razor tires (just like Turftamers but less expensive 4 rides on them)
Custom made upper engine mounts, Stock ones are paper thin I had 2 sets custom made (they will never brake)
Upgraded Ignition coil and plug wire
Non-mods but stuff that has been replaced
New brake pads 2 rides ago
Fresh brake fluid all around
Master cylinder from a 03 raptor up front
New wiring harness,
New starter solenoid
New starter (replaced right b4 I bought it)
Rear swing arm bearings and shaft replaced 5 rides ago
New “Rickystator” stator and pickup unit
New Yamaha ‘factory’ clutch
New clutch cable
New ‘Scots’ grips (3rides old)
New light/starter switch
Replaced shifter lever and tie rod
New oil drain bolt
New airbox (open cover)
ALL of the engine disassembly and rebuilding (aside from the head porting) was professionally done @ “The Sport Bike Zone” in magnolia NJ I have receipts for over $3,100 of above mods. There is at least $500 in receipts I don’t have here for the wiring harness and brake parts. The quad has no issues (stalls when you put in reverse, it’s a bad ground on reverse switch will be fixed Sunday). Starts right up, no smoke, no burning fluids, none of that. The quads gearing is set up for a 240 lb guy for tight trails, if you’re riding on more open trails you will want to get different gears. If I had the time to ride I would keep it, but I don’t. I have a ton of time and money invested and would like to see someone use/enjoy it. It would be a great learner quad, all you have to do is go back to stock or taller gearing and it will be perfect for any younger rider to handle. It’s a great quad with nearly everything that you could want replaced, and even some mods to help it out.
If you buy it I have 3 or 4 extra k&n oil filters, 2-3 extra sparkplugs, extra carb jets 140through170, stock cam, stock cylinder. extra set of footrest. And a Chilton’s manual for the warrior
I’m really looking to get $2,300 for it but would take 2k.OBO Keep in mind I have all the receipts for everything and the title. Stock warriors in worse condition are selling for more on ebay.
Not looking for any kind of trades (unless you want to trade your FD (plus me give you a few K’s)
Fell free to e-mail me or call me, 609-760-6077 or bacon7299@yahoo.com (leave a message if I don’t answer)
Thanks

I’m hoping you missed the 1 in front of the 900=1900, if not I think the lowest offer I would entertain would be 1800. Stock warriors from this year pull that on e-bay all day long, and most of those have bald tires or a few things that need replacing. This is one quad you wont be able to find stuff to do to it b/c everything is already done to it. Probably going to put it on e-bay come dec 1st if she doesn’t go b4 then.
