I work on Governors Island here in NYC. Its an island just off the southern tip of lower manhattan/wall street/financial district. The island is open to the public on Fri/Sat and Sunday.

He came to the island to discuss some topics with world dignitaries since the UN is in session. Here are some pics

I had high hopes for Bush and was let down on most of them but he did prevent another attack which everyone assured us it was going to happen just a question of when. Well it wasn't during Bush's term. No if we could have fixed the rest of his unConstitutional actions and his failure to use a veto pen the world might be a different place. Congress are the big screw ups now. God forbid a Carter, I mean Obama Presidency.

I was thinking the same thing, I didn't even bother to comment. How many of us can say the President of the United States visited our job.

 

True... Not many can say that the Prez has visited their jobs... I just think that this thread along with thousands of other threads and blogs on the net are saying the same thing when someone mentions President G.W.B.

When it comes to the President and everything that has happend durring his administration... It just seems as if he has failed in his decision making, from the war in Irac all the way to our economy....

People here shouldn't be so surprised when others bash the President. The majority of Americans do not approve of his work durring his term in office... His approval rating is at an all time low...
