Please Help

thought i'd give it a try in the NE Section.....Ok i have a 87 turbo 2, with a re-wired walbro 255 pump,rb full turbo back, hks megaflow intake, dual alt pully, and an hks fuel cut defenser....NOW heres the problem...my car is bucking, loud pops and nothing but flames coming out of my exhaust....i can drive my car once i step slowly on the pedal and it drives like theres no problem but as soon as i floor it or press the pedal any harder then the car just sits there and when i try reving it while its out of gear the rpm just drops to like 1500 and sits there then about 2 seconds later it trys to jump up and then revs up to whatever rpm i let it.....the car starts up perfectly first try and idles with no problem, like i said i drive the car still just not stepping on it, it drives like nothing is wrong with it...i pulled the plugs to find that they were extremely black..i changed them and the fuel filter, i also changed the afm(have 3 now) i even tried spraying the tps with WD40 to see if that would help but still the same thing....what do you think could be happening????its just driving then breakin up then shooting flames...anyone please

Spraying the TPS with wd40 will help nothing, it's not an electrical contact cleaner.

You should hook up a voltage meter to the TPS and test it per the FSM. (fsm here: http://www.cochran-racing.com/)Then, if that doesn't provide any answers start looking around the engine for broken wires and broken vac hoses and I mean... *LOOK* like take the UIM off poke through the Vac Rack and look at all the connectors to see if the wires have seperated from the plugs. Test for vacuum leaks. Run a fresh ground from the negative battery terminal to the engine harness ground on top of the engine. Then run another ground from that ground to the ECU ground. under the passenger kick panel. That's the most simple ground loop, you can get fancier but that should help you diagnose the problem at least.

Hesitation issues are because of a super rich condition caused by a faulty stock electrical system (heat cycled thousands of times in 20 years), or a vacuum/boost leak.

Also another avenue you may want to look into, check the coils where your spark plug wires are and look for arcing back to metal with the car running of course. follow all the lines (specifically the leading ones) Might want to check your timing as well just to cover all of your bases.

thanks

hey man thanks for the info also i meant to say that i sprayed WD-40 on the cables front and back of the UIM sorry for the mix up..I took that manifold off and searched but seen nothing out of the ordinary. so now i am leaning towards changing my coil packs hoping thats going to solve it but i will add those grounds that you said i should..thanks again...anyone else want to take a crack at this?
