Angry and playing submarine with your fd sucks too....

god no i didnt mean i was boosting i was only going 40mph, i only traveled about 50 directional feet before i stopped but i spun around a helluva alot, i meant that the tires broke loose and the engined revved up building boost before i caught the tire spin ( no tach) and then it was over , good news however nothing was wrong missed my fuel lines by 3/4 of an inch, frame wasnt even dinked underside.

weird thing is we been getting an buttload of rain up here and its been taking forever for an estimate of new tires/alignment/patch undercoat for the scratched underneath. so im going what the hell is goin on? its just a stinkin estimate, right??

wrong, i finally get them on the phone today (8 days for an estimate???, ive called several times and stopped in there shop 3 time ) and guess wtf now...my baby has a good chance of being totalled because the fothermuckers parked it in an area prone to flooding. water up to the seats and the wench has the ***** to tell me i wont be able to buy it back because of some mold hazard can you believe this $hit?? i narrowly escape some serious accident only to have a good frame car totalled because of f-in water and the B*&^%'s waited to a few days to even tell me it happened i had to pretty much corner her to find out wtf was goin on. this is freakin ridiculous, hell i wouldnt mind just the shell because then i could at least do a full interior (not that mine was bad at all) but i would make some money from the insurance that i could put into the car and have my same FD that i built up,

i guess the good streak ended, i snuck into the body shop parking lot tonight to take a look but thankfully the fd was locked up and i didnt have the spare handy, from the outside she didnt look to bad but there was a freakin cloud of condensation on the inside , dead giveaway to water inside ::sigh:: i guess that accident was supposed to take out the car and because of some blessing from god it turned out fine so i wouldnt get hurt but my baby is looking pretty cursed. damn.... i hope she doesnt go salvage ::sigh::

WTF? Is this for your first RWD car or something? Did you just get it and dont know how to drive a car like the FD? You shouldnt need a tach to realize your tires are spinning and that you should let off the throttle and correct, the rapidly rising speedometer should be a clue, and you definatly should have been able to feel it.

Of course, all you really need to know is to SLOW THE **** DOWN when its raining.

your username says it all honda boy

Del Slo in the head,
I didnt post to hear your boy-wonder ranting, i did feel it rip free, it only takes a split second to build boost when the tires rip and by then you are hydro plaining, cause if you read the original thread i hit a lake sized puddle, and for all you and i know it wouldve happened even if i was coasting, as for "slow it down" i was maybe doing 40, maaaybe, if that, but im done defending my position on what happened, if you have a crummy comment like rice boys last comment dont bother leaving because i wont answer it *if* i even read it.

p.s.- i have the opportunity to buy the shell, if it gets totalled, its in pretty damn good condition, like i said the ony damage was some undercoat was cratched off, so if i get enough people that want parts or even the frame itself let me know i dont have much time, to decide though

Um, excuse ME but saying his user name says it all "honda boy" Omfg, you have just PROVED YOURSELF at being a RETARD. You didn't even have to try at that one, let me ship you a dunce cap, free of charge.

And just so you know, DelSlow happens to have a very nice Turbo GTUs..and if you were going 40mph, then you couldn't have had you're foot on the gas very hard, and even if the car was in neutral you wouldn't have built boost extremely fast with the pedal hardly even depressed. So either you weren't going 40mph, or you didn't know you're tires broke loose. I for one think you didn't know the tires broke loose, because you are, as I stated before. a RETARD.

I'm going to have to back up nemeii on this one... rain is really scary, and if you have any sort of high performance tires you can't get any grip in the rain anyway. and if they're really wide then you hydroplane on every puddle you hit. the twin turbo boosts even when you don't have your foot down that much, that's what it's for. blueskaterboy did the same thing in his FD a while ago.

bottom line, you shouldn't drive your FD in the rain, or this'll happen... but it sucks that it did.

Yes, I love it. One less FD in the world because of some fuckface who can't me mature and be careful in the rain. Seriously, I can understand recking in the rain, but your excuses, lol, are lame as hell. Be honest, you were doing to really "cool" ricer ****, Drifting.

Calling delslow a honda boy, that is funny. You really have no clue as to what you are talking about do you. He is highly respected on this forum, I mean post count sums it up. He has 800+, you have <100. Delslow has one of the nicest FC i Have personally ever seen, nicer than a MANY FD's. And becuase of your little mishap, his is now nicer than your FD.

Thanks

Ty
