I was just talking to Anthony bout this. He didn't get a call, nor did I. Apparently they got over 800+ emails in the first 1/2hour, so chances are I got screwed. This sucks, cause its the only Pinks All out on fairly close.

From etown!

I would like to comment on a few things before I get started with the breakdown.

1. There is no good or easy way to register racers for Pinks All Out. When you consider the popularity of the show and the amount of racers we have in the area,is there a way to make it easy or fair? Maybe, this is what I went with.I'm willing to accept "internet bashing".It is part of life now in 2008.

2.Obviously some people figured it out. I tried to do it with a time stamp to give everyone a shot equally. There is no "PERFECT" way of doing this. This is a lottery! Should I have just let 1,000 cars show up........Oh,your number 401,Tough ****. Oh,you don't have good mufflers,Tough ****. You try to make it fair, and that's still not good enough. Maybe next time you can line up outside like cattle at our office in the snow.Like buying Hanna Montana tix.We didn't want to do it that way. That is why there was a few weeks for everyone to get set up.Even did it on a Sat.night so work wasn't involved.

3.Every one will be treated fairly! That's why there is a time stamp.I'm not picking and choosing.I could give two ***** who gets in,wins, etc. I',m sure there will be people who get in that I don't even like. Oh well, your one of the 400. I had to enforce rules given to me about certain racers being ineligable.People I like,People who work hard for RP and the sport.Rules are rules.

4.If you want a little breakdown............here it is.

12:01 time stamp 515 racers (You will be getting a call soon,be patient Pinks is not the only thing I do.)
12:02 time stamp 170 racers
12:03 time stamp 109 racers
12:04 time stamp 53 racers/847 total

too early 11:50-12:00 343 racers

If you have a 12:01 time stamp you will get a call about NHRA rules, mufflers, etc. I'm sorry we have noise restrictions,But we do.I live with it everday we are open. That is the reason behind this process.

After the phone process is done.Everyone will get a "thanks for playing" e-mail if you DNQ'd in the process.

5. Thanks everyone for attempting to get in to Pinks All Out. I tried my best to make it fair to get in.I'm sorry for all the people who don't have a computer. This is 2008,what can I say.

All I can say is I tried to make it fair.

MIR did it the best way. You registered and printed your ticket right off the damn computer. Oh well. I just wished they had more Pinks All out events.

I for one think that any member of the "***** out" racing team should not even need to register!
