Turbo, I'm in the Harrisburg area and will be headed up 81 I think is the plan. If you wanna cruise with me to where everyone is meeting, I'm sure I could manage to keep it around 80ish?

Wow, more central PA representin' than I expected. We will be leaving on Saturday night from my house about 40 miles east of State College to go to Lake Hopatcong and spend the night. If y'all wanna meet up for the last 20 miles or so, we will be coming down 80 and getting off at the same exit as you all on Sunday morning. We will be driving the matching red TII's with OZ's and possibly a third car, the '86 no-clearcoat GXL. Hit me with a PM if anyone is interested in meeting for that last little bit.

My red '88 SE has been in Pittsburg with it's old owner until this past saturday, and I need to get in inspected (legally by like... tomorrow to keep driving it, but i've got a subie). Problem is, I know I can get the tire that I need in time for the fest, but I need a wiper switch as well. I'm gonna see if I can't slip someone some cash to ignore the wiper switch if I can't get one shipped quick enough.
I think i'm gonna head down to faulkner tonight and see if they can't get me one quickly.

eh rig something up for inspection.. that's how I use to get by. Reverse lights don't work? Ok no biggy... auxillary battery, a switch, and clip into the reverse light wires did the trick... told them to flip the switch when in reverse *chuckle*
(No I didn't do this to my 7.... 7 was the first car I ever owned where the damn lights worked from the day I got it, albeit with the tint in the back i can't see a damn thing at night anyways using them)
Hell emmissions inspection... all i had to do was buy an air pump and that little exhaust thing on the side of the block... put em on and put a belt in just so it would pass the visual.. the mechanic said, and i quote, "I don't give a damn if it works, I just have to see it's there" He also couldn't find my cats... cuz i don't have any.. but he had no idea what a presilencer was... so i just told him that was my cat...
EDIT.. oh and I hope you get it inspected... would be nice to have a few people to cruise up 81 with...

Prosthetic head.
I'm coming from Columbia county in PA. I'll be traveling I-80 the whole way, so I hope to meet you guys at that rest station. Now I just have to figure out which car to take: black 88 gtu, or black 85 gsl-se?

Or are you taking 95N to 476N to the PA turnpike to the NJ turnpike. Often the latter is better- I go up that way every week practically. Let me know and I will be joining up with you guys when you hit the PA line.

Ok... so now that rotorfest is tomorrow, what are the exact details on this?
Time?
How many are coming?
Does the rest stop have any decent food? People want to get together a little early and grab a bite?

hmm....I live in westchester and I never see any other rx7's. Except for 3 nights ago I was riding up the *** of a 3rd gen in my green durango then when I pulled up next to him he smacked the pedal. Any of you guys driving that beast. I have a black 87 tII with and RE Type-4 wing and a front mount. Car is getting an upgraded turbo right now so she is down.
