i live in west chester south east pa and i was wondering if there were any meets in the area southern jersey anything

 

Hay I'm south of Pittsburgh and would also like to know if there are any pa meetings or events. If any one wants to start one near here I would be willing to help set it up. LETS DO THIS!!!!!!

 

Where in west chester? I'm in wilmington de, right off naamans road. There are a bunch of meeting spots in our area for car meets - not much for rotary specific stuff. I have a couple of facebook groups I could invite you to. I know 5-6 RX7 guys in our area.

 

I just moved back to the Pittsburgh area. There was a strong meet scene in Vegas. I'd like to get involved with one or start something out this way.

I'm up in Erie, would be interested in something in the western part of the state. The cruse around Presque Isle State park is a decent ride with nice curves but there are some speed restrictions.

sorry iv been real busy with alot of training with work but yes i driftx i would like to know some more info and no doesnt have to be rx7 specific since i just got done with another build that i would like to break out. so any info on meets in our area would be awsome thanks

 

I live south of Pittsburgh also. There is a decent car scene out here but im the only guy with an rx7 im definitely interested in getting some rotary car meets going in Pittsburgh. Biggest car meet ive been to with rx7s was h20i. lets get something going! also Ohio has a huge rotary scene. OHIO ROTARIES they have meets all the time. far drive from westchester but h201 isn't.

Jordan, how far south of Pittsburgh are you? I have been to a couple of meets hosted by Mazdaverx713b in Vermillion, Ohio. The West Penn Mazda Club seems barely alive. They do however gather at the Pittsburgh Vintage Gran Prix every July. The PVGP Car Cruise is Tuesday, July 15 from 5-9 pm. It would be great to get a few RX-7s there. Usually mine is the only one, however last year there were 3 FB's and a couple of FC's.

 

I live near Scranton,Pa and would also like to find some meets around here. I know theres a few 7's around but never hear of anything going on.

 

I live about 30min from Pittsburgh in bethel park. I do remember going to a car show at the waterfront and ran into some guys with some fb's. Didn't see to much all year but. The car show was a really big one for the waterfront could have been around july.

 

Just got the FD over to the new garage. Drove it for the first time in months. I'm right up in Brighton Heights. I'd be up for a cruise or meet in the Pittsburgh area.

 

I am in Mt. Pleasant, SE of Pittsburgh, and might be up for something although my time is very limited with two jobs.

 

You're definitely not the only one in Pittsburgh with an RX-7. There are plenty, I promise. Just not all frequent this site.

 

Pittsburgh here, daily FC driver building a 88 turbo in Duquesne. I have fc's parked all over the city.

 

There is a car show being held at Diehl of Robinson this weekend. They are unveiling some viper. It'd be pretty cool to get some rotaries over there.

^Nope. Got stuck at work. Keeping my ear open for any other Pittsburgh happenings. Has anyone ever gone to a Pittsburgh Cars and Coffee?

 

According to the Pittsburgh Cars N Coffee Forum, there will be a car show/cruise at Tilted Kilt in Robinson on Sunday May 4th from 2-6.

Additionally, there is a car show/cruise being held at Penn Borough Park the same day from 1-4. Check out ptarc.org for details.

I fully intend to go to the tilted Kilt show, but I have family near the latter that might sway my decision. I will post if I change my mind and go to the other show.

 

I have been to a couple of Pittsburgh Cars and Coffe meets. There are some super cars that show up as well as some supercars. I have made it to one meet near Wexford and one out at Robinson Town Center.

 

I'm almost always at the cars and coffee meets in Pittsburgh. I've been going for the past three years with my Subaru (working on the RX-7 still). It's a great atmosphere and a lot of great people. There has been a black R1 there the past two meets...still trying to run into the driver, and I'm pretty sure he's here on the forum. Meets are every other Saturday at Generosta in Warrendale/Cranberry.

Very eclectic gathering of cars. Last Saturday was probably the widest range of cars I have ever seen at a meet. Everything from classic Bentleys to ziptied-drifters, supercars to stance cars. Best part of the meets, to me, is everyone who attends is very respectable to any and all cars that attend, to the club, and to the coffee shop for having us. It's definitely shaping up to be the best year yet for the club.
