nope...after a few of my friends had major accidents from idiots running into them while trying to "screet race, y0", i'd avoid the place.

come to Ocean City for the cruise-in instead!

whatever you end up doing, watch out for the OTHER idiot drivers on the road. last year a buddy of mine and his girl got sent to shock trauma from 2 girls street racing and hitting them

if you go, have fun...just make sure you watch out for those dumbasses.

what if we have reason to?

just because your show's the same day as the cruise-in, doesn't mean your show is better. they appeal to slightly different crowds, and both have idiots...however, the import show has a LOT MORE idiots attending than those at the cruise-in. maybe it's because there are generally more "mature" adults going to the cruise-in...not sure...but don't get upset just because people don't want to go to the importhappy show that you're going to.

Bad mouth another show?--
Bro=i am just stating what we have seen at this event,I would do the same for any show
If I am thinking about going to a show I would want to know what other people think about it--thats what opinions are--If you Dont like people posting opinions
about the show ,then don't post it on the forum.

Bad **** happens at this show. It's rice at it's finest.

I know because I'm local and I read the police reports from the last year's events.

LOL...Dave, a bunch of us went to it last year (at Harrisburg) and the VAST MAJORITY of the cars there were def low end ricemobiles. Cops were out in FULL force...cars, cruisers, bikes, SUVs, the works. Ppl were getting pulled over right and left for revving, racing, skidding, drifting, sliding,, burnouts, blah blah. Crazy stuff.

Aide from Scrub's and my FD, there was only 2 other FD's there (in the show). One was no longer an FD...I don't even know if it ever ran. Red, had like 12 amps and 15 speakers in it (literally), and chromed engine bay parts. Factory AST. Absolutely impressive

There were a few very nice cars (very very few) like a pair of BMWs - an M3 and M5 painted in midnight blue metallic, w/ subtle body accents and lots of performance mods. That's prob the only thing that impressed me.

I just wanted to go this past year b/c it was at PSU, which is where I went for undergrad. A bit of nostalgia

There's nothing wrong with going - but it's fair to get warning about what's happened at past shows. On the bright side, some guy does a GGW type of thing at this show.

Now that it's at State College, (the 2nd time it moved) it's going to be yet a different fleet of police. No telling what it will be.
