they don't...and i can't justify the expense. it's fine for a day, but more than that and it gets tiresome.

i was goin to sneak in my self.. 55 bucks is a bit much.. but i want to play in the Pump it up Tournament.. the knockoff of DDR.. cuz the winner gets 22K

 

Pump It Up is at Dave and Busters (rockville/white flint mall) if you're willing to drive down there and get your practice on.

As for getting "in" for free ... I would check the baltimore venues that will be happening other than otakon because the BCC is technically a public building - at least the 2nd floor because it's the shortest walking path from the hotels to camden yards. so "technically" you can get "in" for free. Actually watching something or going into the rooms will be a different story. I don't know what the security setup is this year.
