Orange County Choppers All Mazda Meet - May 7th, 2011
LOL, that picture was taken in 1980 at my friends house just after I got the car. I rode my bicycle to the mazda dealer in Queens and drove the car home. I was the guy at the OCC meet with the stock red fd (didnt age a bit).
And if I look hard enough I am sure I can find that shirt in my closet....

I assume you are speaking of Ray Sweeney
, the owner of the RX8 to the right of my sig.

More of a reason to keep my clothes so I will be just as stylish 30 years from now.

I went last year with a couple of the local guys and had a good time, but felt that the rotary powered cars didn't get any respect and kind of got shoved into the back lot by the Hotel. There was some awesome Mazdas including a 323GTX that I would have killed for, but it seemed like the ratio was 90% Mazdaspeed 3's to everything else. Don't get me wrong I love me some Mazdaspeeds, but most of them were fairly stock and they all seemed to have the same exact modifications. Love the old school photo.

like I said- we like to feel special, I dont want to be in some side lot like that cousin who gets invited to the wedding no one wants and gets seated with the freak table
I got to say- these 2 red fc guys looked like they had a good time
This is the exact reason I don't go to meets unless I know exactly who I will be surrounded with. Not worth my time, effort, and gas. I participated in starting the Flushing Thursday Night meet, and ironically I didn't go until a year after it started, and only went a few times. Guess why.
If I want to go to Bear Mountain and OCC, I much rather go with friends.
