Any suggestions for near by mountain twisty roads?

 

we can just go for a cruise and find out!

 

There are some twisty's by camp smith & west point, other than that I don't know.

I got the car out this week and did some logged pulls and everything looks great. Although I have to drive around with out the boost controller on cause at ~15psi I can't get **** for traction, even with the new 255's on the rear. So far I'm still a go since the car runs like a champ.

 

I'm really glad since you stuck with the car threw thick and thin I might be up there the weekend 2nd 3rd and 4th of april. Throwing a new battery in the 7, oil change and spring cleaning! So ill shoot you a text when im 100% sure maybe me you and alyssa can go grab a bite to eat and show off the progress of the babies!

 

I was hoping for scenic roads around the mountain. I would like to map everything out before the actual event .

 

im sure we can sneak away with a few others and go for a drive lol

 

I'll be coming from Long Island if anyone wants to tag along. It's been several years since I've been to an event. I'll bring out my little beast.

 

I'm going to be heading out from Brooklyn that morning. Not exactly sure if people from Queens and Long Island will be taking what I'll be taking up there. Actually, I don't even know what road I'm taking yet .

btw route 17a in warwick (goin over the mountain) is a sick drive, just gotta be careful of cops, but it;s a 55 mph speed limit and thats enough for those curves lol. steep climbs, diving turns, it's fun as hell to drive, anytime I take my rx to work in the city, I come back and take that road even though it's about 50 miles extra out of my way lol

 

im game for the ride out there.. but is there any E85 stations there??

 

unfortunately no e85 stations up here yet. well local anyway

 

damm im gunna have to drive with a few extra tanks in the back of the 7.. hehe
