haha as soon as i can really push her i'll let you know. I spoke with Chris Baily the other day. He just got his new engine dynoed. He made 340 rwhp at 8000 rpm. He did the non seq mod too. He also said he lost your number so he would apreaciate it if you called him.

I really wanna run this saturday but it would be beter to wait and have a sound tranny. Hopefully i can get the tranny back in, in under 3 hours!

Yea, you're better off waiting to make sure everything is working right. I'm sure you can put it back in 3 hours. Mine went on pretty easily (with Chris's help). He's making 340 rwhp? I'll have to call him and find out what mods he did. He told me "I WILL see 200mph!"

340 on non-seq is pretty damn easy if you have a good tune / tuner

Well from what i understand (which isnt alot) you can run more boost with non-seq. He was running around 17 psi but because it was non-seq he only had good power after 6000 rpm. Before 6k he made under 290hp and before 4k he made under 200hp. But he is also all for this because of only have like 5% the amount of vacume lines.

He lives in texas and was tuned by Steve Kan who was also who tuned my car....

Opening day is pretty much a waste to try to run. You can expect long waits.

I could be wrong but I am pretty sure the stock gearing would not get you up to 200mph. I think it would fall short around 185. The fastest I been in mine was 168.

I'm pretty sure I've heard that FD's are geared for 200 mph they just dont have the power. I could be wrong though/

He can do a tune at anytime. He's got the in house dyno!!!

And I should be going up there, a co-worker just got a 00 lightning, and he had drag radials put on today, and wants to run his truck. He expect's low 12 second runs.

I wonder if Mr. ErnieT is going to come down and run his CYM monster.

I will, but not till April. My car is up at Ray's now, getting some more goodies so we can run 38-40 psi this spring... Going for 700rwhp. This way, even if Im a rusty shitty driver, I should still run 9's, lol......
When I get it back, it goes to the body shop for the holeshot front end and feed rear spoiler.

Holeshot front end? I thought you picked up the Burnout front end from that Group Buy?

Yeah I'm just speaking from a budget point of view. I can't really afford to get re-tuned all the time acording to the weather. Thats why I was wodering if I should wiat untill summer so the tune will be good while the weather is hot. Sorry bout the confusion.... I know its not smart to try and own a 7 and try to have a budget at the same time....

Well, the good thing about blowing your tranny, it doesn't affect anything else. So if it goes, its still "only" the tranny.
