do i even know you?

ummmm!!!!!

(scratching chin while looking up at the sky....)

This is a quote from dominicaneddy (OSTC) replying to a post on their forum.
"All though we love the fact that you guys are helping with promoting the show by posting on different forums like Honda and Acuras but just keep in my mind that the cut off year for cars are PRE 1987 again we appreciate all that you guys are doing with out your support none of our shows would be as successful as it is today. So with that in mind this is a show for classic/vintage import cars only and thank you for your cooperation."

Hope this clears things up.

I am truly disapointed that fate has somehow brought us to the same car forum. I am embarased to have you drive the same car as me, and wish i could go back to a time before i knew the depths of your ignorance.

i will speak on the subject no more. I'm looking forward to this show and hope to see lots of toyota and mazda ppl there

So if you went that far you are invited to mine house anytime cause I dont discriminate. give me a call anytime or hold on was that u calling me today using a calling card? (several times). Even if you organize a massive meet I am confident that u will still come up with an excuse that ur car cant make it or that u have to babysit and do laundry.

Is it only up to 1987, or is that for Toyotas? The video from last year has a 3rd gen RX-7 at 1:08 into the video. My 93 is vintage for insurance but not antique yet. In my opinion only pre- RX-7 Mazdas are "old school" but they will all be antiques soon enough anyway.

How about a 1987 TII, old enough for DMV Vintage Plates? Is it 1987 and under or 1986 and under?

Smile

Exchanged an email with Fe, he stands by his 1986 requirement. This excludes the precious TII. I asked him if he will ever move the post line on the year requirement since the 1986 hasn't budged in years now and my TII keeps getting up there in age, 23 years since built in Japan. I just passed emissions and will get a vintage plate soon enough. She passed with flying colors as all the original emissions equipment is still on. A few more years and no more emissions is something to look forward to.

The problem with the TII or 2nd gen is that we don't get either the old school respect or the newer import respect. We are like a lost soul looking for our place.

There will definitely be some love for rotaries there. We can call this show our own!
