its not worth it foryou to come to queens my man. Stay in jerzee save $$$ on tolls. Get on GSP to Palisades and go up palisades all the way till it ends, passed exit 19. Check out www.nyrotary.com, directions are posted right in the front page and in the directions section.

Hope you can make it

OK, We are going this Sunday. Me, Jose, Droptop, and our mechanic. I would like to get an exact address to Bear Mountain State Park so I can map out the trip. I would also like to get someone cell number in case we get lost. I will see you guys there.

yea, i'm not to thrilled about driving the beater. it's proabably a good idea though, the 7 needs too many repairs right now that i just dont have time to do. at least it won't die for a while now. you better aim me the high res pics. i just got a new vid cam that i was looking forward to using too.

There is no DIRECT address for Bear Mtn, you can use the Bear Mountain Inn's Address. The parking lot is right next to it. But get on Garden State Parkway somehow and get on the PALISADES. Take palisades all the way up to and PASSING exit 19. It goes on a lil 2 lane road to a ROUND ABOUT. At round about stay to the right towards HAVERSTRAW. Directions from there are posted on www.nyrotary.com

My number is 646.772.0222, but i dont know jerzee well so i dunno how helpful i can be unless your in NY area lol

EDIT:

Take Garden State Parkway North to Exit 14-1
Take Interstate 87, 287 Towards NYC/Tappan Zee Bridge to Exit 13N
Now your on PALISADES and follow directions from www.nyrotary.com (Scroll down on HomePage or click on DIRECTIONS tab)

Some directions to help the NJ guys

For the NJ guys. HEre is more info

You will have to take

A. Garden State Parkway NORTH.
B. Follow Signs for I-87/ I-287 towards Tappan Zee Bridge / NY
C. Look for Signs for the Palisades Interstate Parkway going NORTH.

Follow the directions below from # 3

1. Take George Washington Bridge (Upper Level) to New Jersey.

2. Right Turn at Exit 74 towards Palisades Parkway.

3. Bear Right at the end of the Palisades Interstate Parkway till you reach the end where the Round About is located. (Note: you will need to pass exit 19).

4. At the round about, stay to the right towards "Haverstraw" (9W South, Route 202 West).

5. Continue up the hill, bearing right at the light.

6. Pull into the second parking lot (LOT 2) on the right hand side, adjacent to the lodge (Parking is $6.00 per car)

Hope to see everyone there.

-NYRA

YO NJSTreet, you wont be able to meet us at the scenic area beacuse your going to pass it so NJ ppl just meet us at the PARK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!

I wont be of any help to NJ ppl because im not from Jerzee!

Here are some pics to help you guys visual the location.

From GWB to Palisades

Location of GSP relative to Palisades Parkway

Close up of GSP to 87/287 to Palisades (very important dont get lost)!

Hope this helps

Jason NYC

For you guys in Jerzee that said my directions were bad, look at the second picture showing you GSP relative to Palisades. You see your Still in NJ, you didnt have to cross over the tappan zee to NY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

For the 2007 NYRA meets ALL DIRECTIONS WILL BE POSTED ON THE FORUMS AND www.NYROTARY.com. I will no LONGER be giving DIRECTIONS. I beleive i give accurate directions, these directions are made to ASSIST you in locating the meet. You should be do your own research and become familiarized with how you will be going from your direction. Best thing to do is to set up caravans from your location to the meets.

Dont mean to sound mean but it just sucks not enjoying the meet cuz your on the phone with ppl giving minute by minute directions.

DIRECTIONS are always posted and wil be posted next year as well with more intriquite details than this time, with ample maps and big FONTS, so that no one can tell me what they always tell me " I didnt see any directions!"

Still love ya Thanks for coming!
