NoVA Mechanic/Shop
I have a turbo RX-8 that is exhibiting signs of a bad vacuum leak (very lean idle, rich in open loop, huge STFTs, rough idle). I took the UIM off and went hunting but the jet air hose which had caused issues in the past is still plugged. I have neither the time, tools, or location to continue to try to trouble shoot it myself.
I searched around on this forum but the only advice is for Kyle Russert at CK Autoworks who has worked on my car twice and done a fabulous job but I can't seem to get a hold of him.
While any mechanic can troubleshoot a vacuum leak I'd rather take it to someone who has experience with rotaries, does anyone have any suggestions or am I stuck hauling it out to RP in Summit Point?
Thanks in advance!
