Actually it was a custom bent one from S&W race cars, installed/welded by myself and my buddy Hootie. Under 2k total cost for CM.
Thanks for the comments guys. Now just to light a fire under my painters ***…

Thanks Tom, My buddy Hootie is a mustang guy but has built a few 7.80 and 8.0 camaro’s and maverick’s hees an awesome welder. I can only take credit for the floor plates and tac-ing the cage during mockup. I don’t trust my life to my TIG skills.
If anyone’s thinking of doing a cage, this 10pt Molly cage is only $500 from S&W race cars. And I have the custom bend dimensions if you want to make it fit a bit snugger.
Install price w/o interior in $1500, 2k if you bring it with interior in, turn around under 2 weeks from the time you get the cage/drop the car off.
The cage S&W has was a bit too small for my 6’2” 240lb ***, also I’m not running a interior so we had them re-bend a custom main hoop and halo. The Guys at S&W are awesome, didn’t ask for the originals back, and overnighted the new pieces, and didn’t ask for a penny. I was really amazed how good their customer service is.
Really need to get it into paint which should only be a week out (been hearing that from my painter for 3 weeks now) from there its just re-assembly time. I’m not going to be set up for any classes as I don’t plan on reinstalling the interior. Just need to have it done for pinks in June.

For now just a bracket racer, only person I have anything to prove to is my self. I “could” make it fast enough to compete but I don’t have the funding to keep it going if I start breaking to much stuff. If some of my plans stay in motion this season will just be having fun tearing up the local tracks and seeing how good I can get. Shees been with me since 96’, this is where I envisioned her, how it got here is not, but that’s how life works.

That's some nice stuff. You know, FDs look a lot more affordable without all that interior stuff to break.
Is your painter named Cooter?

Won’t be too many updates till it gets through the paint booth. Which drives me nuts every day it’s in my garage and not there. This weekend ill be finishing a full manual rack conversion and doing a full write up for the FD rack. After taking this thing apart I’m amassed Manville can charge 270 to do it. I’m seriously contemplating buying a rack or 2 and doing for like half their price.
