8. Possible FC
9. Possible FC (find out whats up with the FC's)
10. Sean in my RX-8 (Meeting up off mass pike)

What time are you guys meeting on the MassPike at the Charlton exit?
i am meeting you guys on 84, cause i live right off of rte 20 and it would be stupid to hop on the mass pike.
Its almost a 4 hour trip, so id like to plan accordingly, so we arent holding the other caravans up.

The time we meet at Charlton depends on where we're meeting and when they want to roll out. The Holland Tunnel is 3 hours away and they're leaving at 9:00. Or we can meet with the RT 80 guys at 10:00. It takes 3 hours and 20 minutes to get there. I think meeting in the city would be more fun, but it would add 40 minutes to the trip.

lets plan on being at the Charlton Mass Pike for 6:30 and leave at 6:45-7:00. it is a 3 hour trip to exit 48 off of rte. 80 to meet up with the NJ caravan.

here are the directions to exit 48:

7:00a.m.> 84- 39.7 miles
CONNECTICUT
7:50a.m.> Exit 57, take ramp left onto SR15- 1.1 miles
7:51a.m.> road turns into US5 (SR15)
7:52a.m.> Exit 86, take ramp right onto I 91- 36.5 miles
8:24a.m.> Take ramp onto left onto I 95- 64.8 miles
NEW YORK
9:29a.m.> Exit 6A turn right onto ramp
9:30a.m.> Take Ramp Left onto I 95- 7.8 miles
NEW JERSEY
9:38a.m.> keep left onto I 95 Express Lane- 2.6 miles
9:41a.m.> take ramp left onto I 80 Express Lane- 4.0 miles
9:45a.m.> merge onto I 80- 16.6 miles
10:01a.m.> arrive at exit 48 (Pine Brook Exit to meet RX-8 caravan)
MEET UP WITH NEW JERSEY RX-8 CARAVAN
(this is where it gets tricky-i had to take these off the island dragway website cause my mapquest couldnt find it)
take I-80 to exit 19
bottom of ramp, take left
go approximately 6 miles into hacketstown
make a right onto Rte 46/Main street
follow for 7 miles
entrance to track will be on right hand side just past Cannonballs Go-Go

3 Hours 45 Minutes
222 Miles

Dont forget oil, tools, coolant, water, snack, your girlfriend, and if you have one, a walkie talkie so we can stay connected and tell jokes. if anyone wants my cell phone number to call me before and on the day of the meet, or to let me know they are running late, i will be happy to give it to you. good luck to all getting ready for this event, i know im not ready yet.

Well it seems you guys from MA/RI/CT will have a better oppertunity meeting us at exit 48 off of Route 80. No point in Meeting up with us iin NYC becuase you guys will actually back track depending on where you live. So we will just meet you guys where Chrism's RX-8 people will be at. We will arrive there at 10:00am sharp.

Last year we did leave early to avoid any traffic, but this y ear ima relax it a bit cuase we missed alot of people cuase they were running late, So 8am we will begin to meet by the Holland Tunnel on the NY side then lnk up in NJ then go up to exit 48 to link up with you MA/RI and CT guys and RX-8 headz.

See ya there

BUMP FOR 3 BRILLIANT BLACK FD'S GOING ALONE.
One of them has an LS1, one is somewhat stock with all the factory accessories, and the other FD doesnt have any A/C and has tight fitting Sparco seats.
you know you want to caravan down with us. If that isnt a great enough sales pitch, i dont know what is.

jason, i felt the same way about the LS1 at first. once you see it, and see how much time and attention to detail Pete put into it, you'll appreciate it, im sure.

GTI337- congratulations on the baby. maybe sometime, we'll bring the party to you. im gonna try to set up some meets, cruises and bbq's over the summer, so we'll try to get somewhere convenient for everyone. we'll take pictures for you. my name's Rick, by the way.

quick side note- my car has been at Advanced bodyshop in Worcester (nothing bad) getting the N1 hood, hood pins, and Feed CF sideskirts put on, and we pretty much wrapped everything up, as far as fitment goes. we just need to smoothen out the edges on the hood, clear coat the hood and skirts, drill holes and install the squirters, put the hood dampers on, paint the whiper arms, detail her, and we'll be good for Rotor Fest with a new look. i cant wait. im contimplating bringing it home for the weekend for my friend's wedding, but with my luck a rock will ruin my weekend, so ill leave it in there. the legacy's just as sexy anyways.

thanks guys. Little boy.
we agreed on Adam Garrett. Having a little one around changes everything. I have alot less time for the FD now...

Here is a shot, maybe someone has seen it around. I'm always down at marks cruise night on monday evenings. usually 5-800 cars there every week.
A local meet, (worcester area) would be a good idea

You might want to ask a mod to edit the first post, so people don't miss the importaint info buried in the thread.
