Hey all, I'm about to set a blaze to my rx7. It's been giving me nothing but issues for about 3 years now. I need some one local IE. RI, MA or CT thats willing to come to me to help me figure out what the hell is wrong with my car. It's been in and out of this guys shop about 3 times now. Had a engine rebuild, then the front cover internals needed to be redone and it still wont catch. What its doing was this. It would start then die off right away. So I replaced gaskets. The upper, lower intake and some of the turbo lines. Now all it does is crank. It wants to start but wont. Like if i hold the key down it will sorta start and hold at 300rpms then after a few secs die out. Its has good compression 90 and above, it has fuel and spark. Tho 3/4 of spark plugs had use on them the lower rear was pretty much clean. Leading me to believe 1 of my injectors might not be getting power, a signal or is clogged. It's had this problem for the longest time. So if any one can help me to get it finally running I'd be soo grateful. All i wanna see is the 7 hit the road again.


I'm trying to keep it away from a shop if possible. I dont want to bring it there and it be something stupid i missed.

 

Have ya tried taking a spark out and putting a lil atf in it to crank over ? or try to clutch kick start it . I live in RI also i can help ya with wht i can. Hit me up if anything

 

I did try to pop start it cause my drive way is kinda a slope, so it b near impossible for me to push it up my self. As for the ATF, never thought of doing that. Do you know alot about rx7's? I think i found my issue any ways a bad injector clip, it was for the primary's. But jsut pm me your # and ill hit ya up. What kinda rx7 do you have?
