need help transporting my FD from philly to NYC
lets back track a little. me and my family had a falling out because i broke the news that i am going back to iraq. they did not take that too well and asked me to leave because it is too hard on them. when i came back from detachment last time, i hit the bottle pretty hard and they do not want to see me do this again... so they abandoned me last week.
also another thing, i just had my upper jaw broken and it was unwired not too long ago. so physically i get exhausted very easily because i lost 23lbs and was at 155 to begin with. with that being said, i cannot travel via plane (i am a pilot) because of this **** too. once my light limited duty hit expires, it seems i will be shipped off.
i am living in the barracks, but since i am "Space-A", they need these barracks for when reservists come and drill for the weekend. so as of this weekend, i will be living out of my car which is packed full of my personal goods.
now onto getting my FD away from my familyand getting it 90 miles north of here for a rebuild. first i called up budget rent-a-car and they said they do not do local shipping (all after giving me the run around). then i personally go to u-haul and they said the auto transport is $50 a day, plus $20 for the truck (which i do not need a big *** truck and has blind spots from hell) and $1.50 per mile, all considering the 90 mile trip. i then called enterprise to get an SUV (cause they have unlimited mileage) and there are non available anywhere and they are closed on sundays; considering that, i live on base and wont allow this car in there regardless. it seems i am fucked on ever aspect of getting my prized car rebuilt.
i am really having a bad day and was wondering if anyone has any incite for me. i am not in the best of frameset. i just want to ship my car safely from philly (i am at NAS willow grove) to rich's place in clifton NJ.

Rich and Ihor I am not sure if you guys have a truck and trailer but Vosko would probably do it for some money.
Also to the OP I hope everything works out for you.

is it a dolly or a flatbed (just want to make sure)?
Tow dolly, two wheels go up. Actually.. Sorry I just realized you'd probably have to take the front bumper off also. My bad. Anyways if you need a last resort let me know.
