I just swapped on my track wheels in preparation for the event this weekend, and had to complete the job dealing with a nice drizzle. Yay NJ

I tried countless times to have a weekend meet. I tried countless times to invite you guys to the whiskey cafe meet that was held every Saturday afternoon.

I was there. You guys weren't.

You WONT see me at a weekday night meet ever lol.

That's why you guys don't see me. Im done with the weekdays. Im not sacrificing sleep time for a bunch of dudes. For hot ***** yes but not dudes, as much as I wanna see other car people.

 

I kinda like the week day (night) meets. It breaks up the work week nicely and lets me spend the weekends with my kids and wife...(I work weekends, but you know what I mean). I don't get much sleep anyway and evryone's car looks better at night...lol. Maybe next season we will ALL figure a way to get together and hang out with our cars and not be in the rain. Until then...it is what it is.

 

Keep trying dude. We will all make it out.

There are tons of hot ***** at Edgewater, they are just really young.

As for tonight, clear skies until 1am. It's probably going to be pushed back again as usual.

 

Everytime I think about making a NJ meet it rains... What can I do??? One of the main characters that would brake my ***** and motivate me (Fiz-e) Hasn't finished his car so he is MIA.. It's hard to work 9-10 hrs a day (body is beat) and then get into a go cart to drive an hour away to a meet.. I am not saying is not worth It to chill with y'all,I'm just saying motivation motivates and there is no motivators around here lately exept cfamilyfix <~~~ this guy is a trooper..

 

Thanks Jason....I know how you feel though. Its been a rough season to hang out and the weather hasn't really cooperated.

I was at the Jersey meet last week. Dennis was out there also.

 

I even bumped into 2RotorsNaDream in CT at an Old School show! A trooper for sure! Lol.

 

Not trying to be rude but i couldnt care less if you guys really wont meet on a weekend. It doesnt stop me from cruising or hanging out with other car people that like meeting up on the weekend. I just figure the usuals who are used to seeing each other during the week have a chance with meeting up with the people who wanna meet on the weekend.



Dude i've attended your meets before lol. Prob before you even had any FD, i know that routine. Maybe it changed maybe it didnt. All i know i had a bad taste with edgewater. With cops, stupid kids who ruin everything, to people actually jotting down license plates to find out where you live. Call me paranoid but thats what i've witnessed. Its not worth it. The girls, well if you count little ****** who go with their bf's trying to be cool, those arent the girls im talking about. Im talking about girls who actually wanna go hang out and have a drink and chit chat. Those types of *****.

My meets?

I believe it. All I can comment on is what I've seen. Nothing bad happens. Cops usually leave us alone, if they don't, we just head to the hookah bar and hang out there. We usually park our cars away from the crowd now to avoid that kind of thing. Either way, we have a good group of rotary dudes that are there just to hang out with each other.

Either way, I'm just trying to facilitate some meet ups and we would like to see you there. We'll keep bugging you about it in this thread. Respond any way you want, it's all good.
