Question

Hey, I may be able to go! However, I won't have the FD out more than likely.

Do you have an idea how long this will be? I have practice with the Band at 11. Probably won't be able to be down to NJ until 2-3 o'clock. I'd hate to show up with everyone leaving.

Oh, and guys, I'll be the one without a shirt on...yea....you know it...thats PhoenixDownVII right there....

2 dyno runs take about 30 minutes, between strap up/down and minor adjustments in between. plus my guess a lil run down liek safety and precautions and were not responsible for engine failures, before they get started. so ima guess its gonna be on for a while.

K, I could be there earliest 2 like I said.

I know it'll be beautiful out, but have you seen the roads here lately? They're still "White", stained with salt/crap. The commute from my house to that part of NJ should be mostly highway though. I'll....THINK ABOUT IT. My car is a 94 with pretty near mint paint and interior...I want to keep it that way!

Hope to meet some of you there,

Same exact situation with me...I know it'll be a nice day and of course I'm tempted, but too much salt on the roads...both my cars are mint too and so I can't bring myself to subject them to the saltiness. Gotta be a good mommy. Take pics though!

It rained earlier today..... It will rain later again this evening... The salt should wash away by tomorrow.....

If my FD gets a little salty I'll just wash it when I get home...... I'm a responsible parent.......

you guys are funny, believe it or not but rain is bad to for the car too but people still drive in the rain no problem right? it dries, they wash it and it looks brand new again..whats the big deal? lol

you would have to leave the salt on your car for days or even weeks for any damage to occur..im sure a couple of hours of salt (IF ANY) that will appear on your car will not cause a problem..just wash it when you get home..

btw, i drove my car during the past week on the nice sunny days and i got home, no salt on the car..it was dirty by the wheel fenders of course and the mud flap part but thats normal, the rest of the car was clean..stop being babies and go!!

I'm not in Jersey or NY, I'm in Philly and the roads here still have salt all over them. I just came back from NYC and N. Jersey this past weekend and again on Wedneday and there was salt... it's also the fact that those damn little salt rocks and ice ***** on the roads, esp. highways, get kicked up by the trucks and fly into your car, even if you're not close behind. I'm just really careful (and ok, maybe a little fanatical lol).

Yo Rob I just p.m.'d you.
But I just spoke with my mechanic & he said he would be finished with my car around 10 in the morning & I still got to get a carwash & put some rims on the car after I get it out the shop.

I was just thinking about the last 3 weekends at this time, I was up in NH skiing and I cancelled this weekend for the meet.

I hope it will be worthwhile...

You are only going to spend $6.00 in tolls.....

Gas is an option..... Although it's cheaper in New Jersey..... For a person on your budget I recomend you bring $20.00...

$6.00 tolls
$3.95 for a slice and a soda
$10.00 for gas
$0.05 for a book of matches
------------------------------------
$20.00 Total

The book of matches is just in case your RX7 breaks down.......lol
A tow truck would be out of your budget.....lol (Just Kidding)

All jokes aside.... I have not worked in sometime myself and on a budget... Hell, If worse comes to worse. I'll sell my *** at the meet
