I was thinking about trying to organize something either at the Mall in Bensalem or by the Sonic on Street Rd. Any thoughts? Not sure on a date. I wanted to gauge interest first.

I'm just tryign to pick a spot that everyone is likely to know. We could always shoot for the D&B over at Franklin Mall?

 

What about Neshaminy Mall behind the movies parking lot. There will be alot less "clowns" passing by trying to show off and get us kicked out. Maybe someone could suggest a better spot with less traffic?

 

Thats even better for me... I can be at Neshaminy in 10 min or less from my house!

I think there are a couple resturants around there too. Now I just need my classic tags to be approved so I can run through inspection.

Are you guys usually free on weekends? I will be on vaca from the 1st to the 19th, but I work Mon-Fri with an ocassional Saturday.

One last question, I live like 1-2 miles from OxFord Valley Mall, Across from Reedman Toll is a K-Mart and a "The Dump" most weekday nights I see a ton of cars gather there and hanging out, but I can't tell if its a friendly crowd or if I should avoid it. Either of you ever hear anything about it?

Yeah, thats an understatement. Although I do see some muscle every once in a while. I figured I'd show up to their thing at some point but bring a few RXs with me.

I'm sure there has to be more than 3 of us in the general area.

Got my classic tags in 1 week. PennDot is ahead of schedule on regs and titles right now.

Arent you exempt from all emissions with the classic tag? I am pretty sure you are. I will let you know how I make out after i get my odometer working.

If approved I'm exempt... I sent in the application, insurance, photos and check but apparently its not a guarantee...

If I am then according to the shops around me that I've spoken to I still need to at least have a cat on my line... which means I'm going to need to pull the midpipe regardless which sucks... but at least I don't have to put the pumps back on in that case.

How goes the odo?? I was tempted just to say it wasn't wokrign when I titled mine.

You seem to be right, my shop did a quick visual, looked at exhaust and gas cap. I have no emmisions at all, and I guess they thought my resonated midpipe was a cat? But i got approved.

Got the odometer working at the moment. Needed to take it apart and solder a capacitor, works fine now.

For the classic tags, as long you have the stock wheels and body, you should get it approved no problems. I have an apexi exhaust and passed and I was told as long at it appears to be stock you have no issue.

 

Classic plates arrived today... Heading home on Friday from TN... gunna see if I can do a super quick swap from the midpipe to the cat and get it inspected on Saturday... Not sure if I'm going to be able to swap it that quickly
