i know. just ragging on you. we got a few MKIII guys in the DC area and their meets are very rare so I figured they would appreciate meeting other car groups. we stay away from supraforums meets since its mostly MKIV ****** there.

My freshly painted 1984 RX-7 GSL-SE. (Still needs the megasquirt installed)

Now I have 2 rotary-powered vehicles...

I should be able to get the rx7 in shape for the October meet... megasquirted with all emissions blocked off. It runs now on the MS, but due to a vacuum leak, it wants to idle at 3000

Just got an rx8 though, so I may drive that if the 7's not ready yet...

I wish I could go to this meet, haven't been to one in so long.

Sounds like my race car. We've tried repeatedly to fix the problem, but it's either idle high or random stalling. Currently it just stalls when it feels like it, usually as I'm trying to stage and push buttons for the tach, line-lock and data recording

I'm still on the fence for Fudds, I may hit the track Saturday instead - depends on how successful my testing is at the track Friday night.

Cant make it now, 1st have two birthdays and 2nd this jerk at work would not take my shift so i would miss the meet and might miss the birthdays and just make saturday suck i blew my turbo 2 last week made my weekend worth while now i am stuck with a slow 91 vert maybe il get back to work preping my 10th anniversary for paint

I'll probably end up coming in my RSX, since the Honda love seems so prevalent here. That, and the '7 is my boyfriend's new daily driver since he just sold his 240, and he has work tomorrow and can't make it.

It's not so much love as it is respect for a machine that can put up with hellacious amount of abuse and still perform rather well.

You're in luck... Just east of Fudds is Crazy Rays scrap yard ( http://www.crazyraysautoparts.com ) which I plan on visiting prior to the meet if I get up early enough...

I believe they have some older Datsun Z's there.

Route 1, just south of Rt. 175 which you'd normally take to Fudds. Come join.

 

its practically every month so look for the next meet. and a lot of us live in this area anyway so you could always ask too meet up with just a few of us another time for a mini-meet. hit up the "Maryland Guys" thread for our normal stomping grounds.
