Bump
August 6th @ 2:00pm.
Only $5 to cover your food & drinks if you are not an MTMA member (non-alcoholic, you can bring beer or wine because we bought a permit for that but that is strictly BYO and only for those 21+).
If you want to join MTMA, the cost for yearly dues is $15.00 and will cover you until June 30th, 2006. This will also give you FREE admission to the BBQ.

Another bump...
Anyone who is coming, please visit this thread on the MTMA board:
http://www.mazdateam.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=99
There are better directions on that page. Also, my cell phone # is listed in that thread, write it down in case you get lost or can't find Grove 4 (it's off in a corner near the south side of the lake).
You can also MapQuest directions to the intersection of Forsgate Drive and Perrineville Rd in Jamesburg, NJ. That intersection is at the northwest tip of the park, and the park entrance is about 1/4 mile down Perrineville Rd.
One more day! This should be a lot of fun; I hope to see a bunch of RX-7's!
If you are not an MTMA member, please remember to bring $5 per person. This will cover the park permits we needed to get as well as food & drinks (burgers, hot dogs, chips, soda, and probably some potato salad or macaroni salad). Of course, feel free to bring anything else though if you want!
You can also bring beer & wine into the park, but our permit only covers consumption in our reserved grove (Grove #4 towards the south side of the lake). Let me reiterate that a permit to consume alcohol is *NOT* a permit to get sloshed. You will be on public land and can be arrested for being intoxicated. Also, alcohol is of course limited to those 21 and over. If officers of the club don't know you, and you look under 30, please do not be offended if someone asks to see your ID. This is the first meet where we have obtained a permit for alcohol to be consumed, please don't make it be our last by being an idiot. In addition, the permit covers fermented beverages only (beer & wine), hard liquor is *not* permitted at all inside the park.
We will also be having a 50/50 raffle, tickets will be $2 each with a maximum of 10 tickets per person.
Let me know if you have any questions!

Yeah unfortunately only 1 RX-7 stopped by She was a beauty though
We had people coming and going all afternoon, there was between 10 and 20 cars there all the time, total showing was about 25 or so (just not at the same time lol...a lot of people came late).
It was a good time, and we had a good turnout despite the relatively short (1 month) notice. After summer is over we (MTMA) will start planning a HUGE meet for the spring. Last year we threw a meet in April that was in planning for 3-4 months, and we had 75 cars show up. I don't see why we can't get that number over 100 for next year, especially if we start advertising it 6+ months in advance!
