Figure this one out. my voltimiteter is only reading 12v when my car is running, but I'm not getting any errors about a dead or bad alternator. dead alternator would throw dash lights and dying alternator would throw a code.
btw, i replaced 3 of my 7 spark wires and car runs HELLA better. Actually has its power back as i found out when i accidentally drifted around a corner i'll replace the other 4 when i replace the intake manifold with the turbo one. and my propeller shaft sounds like its actually running a propeller now. hope it can last until i can replace it.

Coming hard into an offramp, I brake into the turn, turning slightly, expecting the rear tires to squeak just a little as the rear end loads up from the turn.
Silently, the rear end came around on me.
I must have run over enough squirrels to charge my bullet-time gauge, cuz time slowed to a crawl.
No, it wasnt a drift, it was the rear stear bushings finally giving up the ghost. My rear tires turned out, aiming the car right for the jersey wall.
Since loading up the rear would only make the situation worse (unlike in certain drifts), I gently applied the breaks and pitched the car in the opposite direction, hoping the rear stear would pop back into place, and failing that, I would at least slow down for the colision.
The front tires squeaked, but I wouldnt apply the breaks enough to let them get close to locking, otherwise I'd have a spin on my hands.
The rear end came back around . . .
. . . and silently kept going. The rear bushings allowed the wheels to just aim for the wall on the OTHER side of the ramp. I breathed a sigh of relief, I could control this. I pitched the car back, harder, and the car snapped back to going streight, and I took the rest of the offramp at full throttle.
. . . .
. . . Time to replace some suspension parts . . .

well i fixed it. the damn connector on the back of the alternator that hooks it into the charging circuit came off half way. visually it looked fine but i went to pull it to test the circuits before putting a new alternator on...and it fell out as soon as i touched it...plugged it back in all the way and BAM it works again. dunno if its normal but a yellowcap outputs 13.5 volts by itself. at least thats what mine tested at even drained.

since i just had to post this to supra guys figure i would do it here too.
to those people interrested in replacing their gauge lights with LED's or changing the colors.
http://superbrightleds.com/1157.htm carries automotive bulbs made from LEDs. i replace all the bulbs in the dash of my supra for about 50 bucks and an hour of my time. some of you have already seen what the finished product looked like.
