I've been fighting my 83 12a since the day I put it in. It has a stripped Nikki on it and is stock the rest of the way. I have spark(New wires, plugs, tested igniters, cleaned cap and rotor) It sparks stong at the plugs, I have fuel ( premix 1 oz per gallon, new fuelpump 3psi),
It will fire up on the very rare occassion (1 out of 40 trys) and then when it does it is for about 3-6 seconds, I've tryed advanceing it, retarding it( it fired once this way), tryed starting fluid, MMO, I've come to the conclusion I need some elses' help that know what they are doing
Can someone local help me out?

 

Check timing again if fine most likely you have a bad carb. If you have another carb I would try it. I have a good carb pm me if interested.
