Got a friend in Columbus who bought an '87 Maxima a little while ago. It's in pretty good shape. The seller was a bozo who kept asking for $ to do some repairs on it, but he somehow spent the $ without doing the repairs. She finally went and took the car from him; it was undriveable so she had to tow it home.

She doesn't have any local 'car' friends and I'm on the wrong side of the border. Can anyone around there recommend a shop that will help her and maybe cut her a bit of break? It doesn't need major work - it has a common ignition switch problem and the exhaust needs some tlc.

I tried signing on to the Maxima forums to ask this, but I guess they've had major spam/bot problems and you can't start a new thread until you've made about 15 posts. So I could either post bs 15 times and be thought of as a troll, or try to hijack someone else's thread. I didn't like either option...
