what time is everyone staying around untill? I get out of work at 5

 

10:00 AM. ok, works for me. i can leave whenever you guys want to, i cant stay there the whole day and night if theres something to do. where do i enter if im coming in from Belt Parkway?

 

alot of us working slobs cannot make it on a Saturday, let alone a Sat. morning

I'm stayin til about 2 or 3pm.Gotta pick up my kids from a Bday party.

 

should we make it Sunday the 16th instead? i have a PSAT test on saturday the 15th and i would like to take the test AND go to the meet. the test is at 10am...and i think more people would be avaible for the meet on sunday because people dont have work.

 

im avalible either day, but it kinda makes sense that sunday is better for most ppl

 

This meet has been set up for weeks now.I personally have a dozen people coming and I know theres quite a few that committed to being there Saturday.If you want to set-up a seperate meet for Sunday go ahead and start a seperate thread.I set this Meet up for Myself & a few of my Ole Skool friends and figured I would throw the invite out there to anyone who is available on Saturday the 15th from this Forum.

 

I agree. It was setup for saturday. If you can't make it, don't worry. There are 364 other days in the year.

 

I was only offering advice for future meets, I have been keeping my eye on this thread for a long time now seeing if the date would change

I would like to have a Long Island meet that is in conjuction with Bald Hill or Kohls in Commack on a Saturday evening, show the other guys come RX7s and be more to look at as well.

 

would someone make a meet in jersey I missed the last one

 

Blad Hill is a bit rediculous for anyone. It's really far east. Kohls in commack is more reasonable. Also roosevelt field mall is a good choice. Last october there was a decent rx-8/7 meet there. It's fairly central for people in LI and queens/brooklyn.

 

we should do Kohls in Commack on a Saturday night, the one time I went the import turnout was light, we should invade those old folks

^woot!. ill try my best to be aviable for the LI meet. ill see about the kohls meet, most likely i wont be able to go to the kohls meet. does anyone where the area where we're going to park at Valley Stream Park? im coming in from the Bay Parkway belt parkway exit on the Belt parkway.

 

I'll probably get there @ 9Am So I'll try & pick a spot. The problem is if I park too close to the picnic area i'll get boxed in by 10AM.So, I'm thinkin I should set a spot up as far away from the picnic area as possible this way theres enuff room For all the Rotorheads coming later. I'm Down with meeting in Commack,Nassau County Bald Hill Whatever!! For another Meet!!

I don't know the park. Do you think it will be a mess? I'm down to get there early 9:30/10ish.

 

I'm in at 10 or a little earlier. I will be leaving CT at around 9-9:15.

 

ill be there around 9:30-10:00am and ill leave when everyone leaves. im going to have a little meet with Clin10 at the Bestbuy, Toy R us, Kohls parking lot by Bay ParkWay and Belt Parkway which is near Ceaser Bay. anyone want to meet with us there first (for people who are taking the Belt Parkway East from Verrazano Bridge, 278, etc.

edit; i dont know the park neither. but i just know how to get there so if anyone is going to the Meet via belt parkway east that wants a tiny meet at the parking lot at Bestbuy and kohls by bay parkway post it. im going to be at the parking lot by BB and kohls at around 9:00AM

 

Hey John were you at rotorfest this past summer? Someone witha 1st gen just like yours was parked right next to me.

 

I was at rotofest, but parked next to some other 1st gens. Easy to tell if it was mine, did it have a 15" in the back?

 

alright 4 more days to go! where are we going to park? also if anyone wants a mini meet at the BestBuy/Kohls parking lot at the Bay Parkway exit on belt parkway (if your taking Belt east from verrozano bridge/278 or where ever) at around 9:15am please post. Clin 10 and i will be meeting at the BestBuy and Kohls parking lot at 9:15 or earlier. you wont miss it. then we will depart to Valley stream at around 9:20-9:30am.
