Local have a engine hoist/cherry picker i can borrow?
Hey all, i've been sitting on working on my cars for awhile now waiting on other people that aren't coming through for me at the moment so I'm reaching out to you guys here to see if anyone could help me out?
I'm in need of using someone's engine hoist for a couple weekends, as i have to remove and put in motors at different locations. (damn these 1 car garages..)
anyways, i have a donor FC S4 TII which i'll be happy to give parts off of provided it's not going onto my wip, along with some beer if you're able to also help me remove and install the engines, etc etc
WIP 88 TII
DONOR 87.5 TII
the motor i'm pulling out of the 88 TII was supposed to goto the guy that i've been waiting on, but i think anyone helping me get the damn thing out of the car has some dibs on it/parts if it fits your fancy. the rear rotor blew, condition unknown, but the turbo still spins (i know, that's not much to go on), so hopefully it didn't shoot a seal and just lost compression. i had successfully driven the car home on 1 rotor prior to committing to pull the engine, no obvious noises, so hey it might be in ok condition.. :?
local is essex county, nj
thanks,
