awww man! the season is here already! doh! I'd love to go there again but I have too much to do before then. I went there three years ago with NyToy/Soloracer and we had a blast. I'll ask him if he's going, I know he might go with his dad too (n/a rotary lightweight FC) for some fun, they made it to Watkins Glen last summer.

have fun!

270 for non-members, but joining for $35 gives you savings after 1 event.
they also honor membership frorm www.themclub.net and if you join M club, $35, you get 1 year subscription to grassroots motorsports magazine. and you get member prices at M club autocrosses too. and you can compete in season points for M club because they do the time trial portions at the PDA events. M club and PDA teamed up and run events together. you can rent a timer from the M club for $30 at the event only if you are an M club member. you get timed during the normal portion of the event (4 25 minute sessions) and best time is used to compete against others in your class. we call this "Hot Laps".

M club also offers "time trials" which is after the normal event, you get a 5th session with only 2 other cars on the course and try to rip off some nice clean runs...these times are used for another competition with other M club members that are in the "time trials" or "TT" aspect. to do this part, you have to be expert or high intermediate, and you have to join the "TT" group for $50 (one time fee). but that fee is worth it because you get a short extra session at each track we do this at.

lemme know if you have questions about it. its early and i didn't have coffee and i'm about to start my 2 hour commute into the city.

i only signed up for the April 8th event. my plan is to do at least 3 track days with PDA this year. Lime Rock, Watkins Glen, and Poconos. I haven't decided which dates i'll be signing up for. I have to make sure my car runs smooth after i put the motor back in.

cracka, doesn't have to be 'street legal' just has to pass a simple tech inspection.

Yes, its a matter of choice. you don't have to join in order to play with us. but you will get:
1) discounted rates ($20 savings per event i think).

2) the mag subscription

3) you can compete in our season points (which gives gift certs at end of season for 1st thru 3rd places)

4) you can then join the "time trials" group (for $50 yearly fee) which means you'll get the extra 5th session with only 2 other cars on track for 3 timed runs.

see above you can participate in PDA and M club without membership but it pays to get a membership. the M club membership is honored by PDA and vice versa.

nope. but you'll be addicted after one event.

no cage required except for convertibles (they need rollbar). to be track worthy, you need good brake pads and fresh brake fluid. empty all loose items in car. everything in good working order.

haha, i'm on the M club board so i'm biased. but for real, both are similar and we have events together.
M club holds autocross events and the timed portions of the open track events.
PDA just does open track events.
M club only has open track events at PDA events. they are one and the same but the M Club members get to use/rent timers for M club competition. dig?
PDA members will still get member discount price at M club autocross (giants stadium).

I've already paid my membership dues for this year as well as the April 8th track day at Lime Rock. Did you sign up for just March 25 or for both?

funny because my last time out with the rx7 was all stock suspension hard compound yok a032R's on stock rims. this time around i'll be making 25 more hp and tq, i'll be on mazdaspeed coilovers and bigger wheels with victoracers (245 front/275 rear). and hopefully the chromoly rollbar will be in too oil cooler is in now but something tells me it won't be necessary for racing in march.
