I used to live in NH and my parents are still there (in Manchester) -- as much as I'd probably hate the ~11 hour drive in my FD, I'd be interested in going if this were in the warm months.

Since we all drive RX7's I'm sure everyone is hoping this will be in warm months

Rick, you should plan to come to the Boston area soon to help tear down the RX7 for the motor swap. Then you can pick which parts you want before I start selling everything off. Start saving your money, I'm selling everything in the engine bay and a few things from my interior.
Know anyone that buys blown 13b's?

I have to agree no need to put down the NYRA name, help make the meets better instead of taking the easy way out and baggin on it. From an FB owner.

A few LI and Queens guys are thinking of having our own meets instead.
Funny never saw you at a meet. You must have kept to yourself. ask Roan it's like family.

Yeah you did see me there plenty of times, I'm in a million pics on the site BBQ'ing at one of the meets. And I went to about 4 meets this year and from the last Bear Mountain meet I know its not like family at all. ANYWAY, back on topic...if NYC/LI guys are going I'll take the trip up there too, sounds like a fun drive.

Wow, never understand that if people have problems they don't keep it to themselves. If you dont like it, dont come.

Anyway, It's all good, still awaiting the subs.

Not completely sure but it probably needs a full rebuild; blown coolant seal.

I'm swapping to an LS2 so everything in the engine bay will be going. Rick has dibs on the single turbo setup.

Yeah thats my car before I got the bumper fixed. Now its under the knife though, just finishing the non-sequential conversion and FMIC install along with alot of other things tomorrow. Then I gotta start installing the FEED replica front bumper, sides, canards, 99 signlas, and take it in for a respray. Why do you ask?

yea i thought that was you

dude everytime i went to a meet and saw your car, you were nowere to be seen...i talked with every FD owner at all the meets to find out info but everytime i came up to your car you were mia

if i remeber correctly at the palisades mall meet while everyone was going up to people and introducing themselves, including me because at that time i knew nobody i saw you pull up sit in your car for a couple minutes talk to the red FD for another couple then bounce

you cant expect anything to be a family if you dont walk up to people and talk..and you know what...maybe if i could have found your *** i would have talked to you

so dont give us these excuses like we dont want to be bothered with you

i dont remeber anybody being left out at the first bear mt meet of the year either

and the last one was all on people being to shy to walk down the hill and share there dominos because we came up and chatted
i mean yea you could say that we should have called you guys and been like "hey bro's partys over hear" but we just figured you knew that and just felt like protecting your cars or something
...and being as how you came to the first one you should know that we always set up camp down at the same spot

so dude seriously quite with the kiddy grudge because its getting real old and real stupid...we all have the samething in common, there shouldnt be a problem getting along

and if it really makes you feel better next meet you come to ill talk your head off the whole day about your car because i love talking about FD's

I'm definitely game for this. Rotary or not, I'll be there. Freaking fantastic drive. We should also consider doing Hurricane Mountain Road.

Rick, don't let this get too big. It can get out of hand and everyone will just create traffic for each other.

Helghast7 please next time dont come up to me and talk, we have only one thing in common and its the same car we drive. I could care less if you come up to me and talk to me, I know enough people there from mingling to get along just fine. I dont know you, you dont know me, lets keep it that way. I tried to stay off the topic but you had to bring it up.

fail.

bear mt went down like this...
organized BBQ MEET. you bring ****, share, mingle.

the NYC/LI guys who bitched and whinned were the ones eating dominos by their cars? dont blame us because you were scared to interact. EVERYONE knew we were by the picnic tables BY the BBQ because hey, it was a BBQ MEET...... why you guys sat in the parking lot, ate dominos as a group, left without saying anyhting, sat at different tables then use is beyond me. if you wanna be immature and keep yapping how we aren't like family go for it, we are as inviting as it gets, you can ask ANYONE who comes to our tuesday meets how we are like family..

to get back on subject:

i'd like to make this a good turn out, but i cant stress enough how much i want to keep this a safe, responsible meet. i know it is hard to deal with a big crowd, but i would appreciate it everyone drove respectfully for everyone involved and everyone else on the road. i hate to sound like a buzz kill, cause i know how much fun the road is to drive on; but i want this to be something we will be welcome to come back to year after year. im sure we have all seen where one irresponsible person can ruin it for everyone, and its not fair for everyone else; bystanders included. if you had something else in mind, please do us all a favor, and come back on your own time. again, i apologize for sounding like a poon, but there's a time and place for everything, and an open road Kanc is not the place for stupidity.

please put your name on the list and when you think we should do this:
ZumspdRX-7: May 1-3 (Rick)

I'll have a better idea once the NER SCCA posts the Solo schedule, but May to July sounds good. A Saturday would be better for me, since Solo events are usually held on Sundays.
