Interest in a Northern NJ meet
Ray, we should try to find a place to meet on 46 on Tuesdays. Just a thought.
Here are some pictures I snapped before the cops kicked us out at the linden meet:
The Porsche was turbo charged (forget the type of turbo)
BMW 318 track car w/ side exhaust:

Linden Aviation Plaza meets (Thursday) will be cancelled for a couple weeks. NJTuners.com has to get a permit and rent security. Right now, they are trying to find sponsors/vendors to cover the cost. The last meet on 6/14 was over 200 cars and a few hundred people before 10:30. It would of been huge. The meet was just too big to not start to develop serious asshattery. The cops were pretty cool about it but it needs to be organized.
Clifton Rt 3 meets (Starbucks/Uno's lot across from the commons) - Last 3 of these I went to got closed by the cops. There were people racing on route 3. I stopped going about 3 weeks ago. They bounce around to other lots, but where's the fun when you get moved by the cops every 45 minutes because people are idiots.
Edgewater: I haven't made it out to one of these but I had heard they didn't have any issues with cops yet.

The Edgewater meets aren't as big as the Liden or Route 3 meets.
But the cops don't usually roll through unless the parking lot security car calls them over...
usually when some douche is doing some dumb s**t.
Otherwise, they don't really break it up. The Starbucks being open 24 hrs helps I guess.
You should come by and check it out.
