I need everyone's opinion!!

Hey guys, about 5 months ago I ordered a '99 Front end with chin spoiler from Mazdaspeed. It was backordered so I went ahead and had my current frontend (burnout) fixed. I busted it up a bit. Long story short I forgot I ordered the '99 front end. Well, it was delivered today! lol...
Do you guys think I should stick with the burnout frontend I have or go ahead with the '99 version???
Here is a pic of my current front end.

And you all know what the '99 looks like.

Thanks for the picture, 99 spec bumper looks too stock for your car unless you want a sleeper. I agree with everyone else burnout.

I would say burnout, I like the style and it seems to have larger openings at least for the intercooler.

Thumbs up

I think you should go with the new one and sell me the old busted up one at a discount price.

Keep the burnout front end unless you go V-mount, then I'd say go with the 99spec. I think the stock fronts(99spec and S6) look silly with big front mounts crammed behind that tiny little sliver of an opening.

Looks like I'm holding onto her for a little while longer. If you do end up selling it let me know. I like my pfs facia and all but that one you have is pretty nice too.
Are you coming to the BBQ this year?

It appears Im keeping my burnout front end so yes I will be selling the '99 with the '99 chin spoiler. $550 plus shipping (brand new in the box). And No I won't go lower so don't ask. Thanks.

ernie, i had the burnout, the plateless 99 spec, the pfs, and the stock 94 before buying my mazda 99 spec bumper.

imo, the pfs and burnout only look good on black cars. the rx7 needs a black lip at the bottom of the bumper or else it looks incomplete. your burnout looks good from some angles, but trust me you will like the 99 better. the black lip at the bottom of the 99 ties in perfectly with the feed sideskirts.

i dont like the plate on my 99 spec when looking at it from the side, but from every other angle i love it.

the problem with the plateless 99 bumpers is that without the plate they look too pointy.
the best shaped bumper for the fd is the stock 93-95 imo, i just wanted something with 99 lights. i think im going to try and modify a 93 bumper to fit 99 lights, but back to the subject, i think you need a bumper that car acomidate a black lip at the bottom, it will change the whole look of the car for the better.

if you dont believe me put your 93 bumper back on with the 99 lower lip now that you have the sideskirts; i bet once you see it you'll want to throw that burnout bumper away.

99 spec... it conforms to the curves the seven exhibits..
that burnout is just too abrupt and edgy imho... doesnt work with the color either..

A 99 spec'd FD is perfection.

Personally I think the 93-95 front with a 99 lip is the way to go. I broke mine up though so now I have one of Peters instead. I wouldn't mind a burnout one though. wink wink.
