i live in NE
and i just bought an 88 gxl and it has all this stuff done to it
New racing clutch, racing seats, 4 points harnesses, custom short throw shifter, alpine cd player, mb quarts front and rear speakers, brand new custom exhhaust manifold to tips (3" pipes Y-piped to 3 1/2" air-cooled tips)new radiator, brand new gas tank from mazda, new hoses, new belts, new thermometer, moonroof, adjustable suspension, power everything, & good alignment. 113,000 miles on the engine. Runs excellent, idles @ 700rpm and does 0-60 in 7.4. Maintenanced reguarly

i got it for 800 because the exterior is ugly as hell

i was wondering what would be the next proper horsepower upgrade
and i was wondering about engine skip
mine doesnt but i was wondering how to prevent it
any feedback would be so greatly appreciated

 

do a turbo motor swap.

 

what about porting the engine and rebuilding it
then doing a custom turbo job
and new headers fuel pump,injectors etc
i found a sick t/4 for 950
700+hp gain
