^^^so come live by my area where they dont concentrate on anything... LOL

about 2 weeks ago, some kid got stabbed by a sword across the street from an elementary school IN BROAD DAYLIGHT!! 3PM!! when all the little kids were out, parents waiting for their children, crossing guards doing their job, some kid got stabbed by a sword, a samaurai sword at that, about 21 inches in length if i remember correctly..

not to mention that the victim and suspect were both students at a nearby highschool (about 7 blocks from the scene) that was known to be the school of hard knocks, the school who's rep was at a all time low, i dont know any kid who wanted to go to that HS and ever said it with a smile..the school is that bad..

so where were the cops then? if that school's been so bad in the past, should they have some cops everyday to put **** into order? i guess they were slacking on that day of the crime..

anyway, i guess its cool that you have strict cops for crimes like those in your county but it sucks when they harass you for what you call "stupid" things..

My God...people are really retarded. A samurai sword? Wut the... What ever happened to just gettin a good butt whippin? Where'd those days go? I remember when I was a kid, if someone had it out for you, you met up after school (at 3pm) at "the tree" and that as that. Everyone eventually went home lol. No hospitalizations, no missing limbs, no gouged eyes, and definitely no body bags. :shaking head:

Don't get me started. I saw more drugs in my high school then I've seen in my life lol. Practically half the school went out to the apartments behind our school to get high right after school. It was VERY obvious too. I didn't see any cops doing anything about it, including the campus cops. BUT, drive to school w/ the parking tag on your rear view, and they'd pull you over in a minute for "obstructed view" LOL. What a crock.

anyway, i guess its cool that you have strict cops for crimes like those in your county but it sucks when they harass you for what you call "stupid" things..
Oh I don't call it stupid...they are stupid violations by definition. Just because something is law doesn't mean it has sound rational backing to it, esp. when funding is on their minds

It's motivated by the idea of revenue generation through harrassment by the government. It's no better then taxation without representation except they get away with it by hiding it behind "violations".

You sir are a modern day Robin Hood.

On that note, however, SkaterAJR, where in Fairfax are ya? Don't think I've seen/met you before.

I only got pulled over once for running a red. I was passing by this wide intersection when the light turned red as I just was in the way of oncoming traffic. It was somewhat of a bad call since I was going fast enough that I would have passed the intersection before there was any problems. Anyways, there was a cop at the intersection and he pulled me over. He took one look at my setup inside my car and I said "I have a hard time stopping with these controls." Then he looked at my controls again and said "Ok. Have a nice day." and left

yeah it was a sword, i call it a knife cause when i think sword, i think like 31+ inches of pure sharpness LOL but since this was too long in length to be considered a knife, it was a sword, about 21 inches so i guess thats sword like..well the thing is that the kid who got stabbed was actually not part of the plan, he was protecting his friend who they were after..im not sure what actually happened to the kid that they were after, all i know is that his friend who protected him died..i guess he went out like a true soldier..made props to him

and LOL @ eye gouging, who does that anymore? this is not the 80s LOL

and drugs are everywhere, dont matter what school you go to, the best school in the world or the crackhead school of america, there will always be drugs LOL

Just kidding. Yes, my car is a showstopper. But I have plans to turn it into even an even better showstopper

Sorry this is old but I was in TN (enjoying the friggin' 70+ degree weather in the 7!!)

It's easy, every girl is a horse lover at heart whether they're organic or metallic. If she's a jumper she's an adrenaline junkie already. Just teach her to drive. But be forewarned, then she'll want to drive YOUR car!

And SexyRX, you're my new best friend lol

A couple times in 04. My friend borrowed my truck when the registration was canceled and he had not got a licence yet. I borrowed my bosses Tahoe and talked the cop way down. He only wrote my bud for driving without a licence, $50 fine and a a Driving Improvement class(but i dont understand that one since he had not taken Any DRIVING SCHOOL). Then
I got pulled over in September off US50 in Anne Arundel County. The Cop was running radar against traffic on the High Speed side, when i crested the hill after passing 2 cars and a tractor trailer that had kept-up trafffic for at least 10 miles. When I was moving all the way over to the right lane at 80mph when he came out in the high speed lane on foot and pointed me over, I just kept going just trying to get to the right seeing a car over in the shoulder in the high speed side. I got off on the next exit when he came up behind me all mad. I yelled out my window 'you wanted me to go to the top' when he used his PA and told me 'Move to the top of the ramp' Any way he came up to my truck and started yelling at me like he was my brother "Tell me you were not trying to duct me," "Tell me you live up this ramp" "Tell me your visiting your best friend up here" Then he told me to givem my licence and reg. I gave him my licence and realized i left my reg by my computer at home.
He wrote me for canceled registration, suspened licences, failure to obey a direct cop order, and failure to display registration and possesion of a suspened licence.
The I got pulled over in December for tags light to dim
That cop was cool i talked to him for a while he let me drive it home on dead tags and no licence with a ticket for drivng on a canceled registration $270

It was James Watt (steam engine inventor, namesake of the Watt unit of measure, etc) who 'calculated' the mechanical output of a horse to do the same work as his steam engines. So it was really a measure of how many horses his engine could replace, in that one application. I think the application was horse-driven cranks for lifting material out of mines.

Ever since, this unit of measure migrated around until it was standardized and never changed names. http://www.web-cars.com/math/horsepower.html

(Hey, I realize that nobody cares!)
