I see quite a few 3rd gen owners posting here but how many 1st Gen's around NJ???

 

'85 GSL-SE here....I can't remember the last time I saw a 1st gen on the road around here.

 

They are pretty rare around here from what I've seen. That's why I posted.

I'm in Middlesex County..where are you?

 

Live/work most of the year in Bergen County...spend some time in Burlington County with family. Love that '79 of yours. I had one before my '85.

 

Thanks... we love it too! My hubby had one when we first met in 86'. He regretted getting rid of it for a 89' Conquest TSI. So I surprised him with another one 2 years ago. Very hard to find. Its completely stock accept the radio. We will need a new engine eventually as its smoking alot but still driving it when he gets a chance. We want to keep it stock... we are not into racing. Just enjoy the pureness of it.

 

I drive my '85 GSL almost everyday between Freehold and Princeton.
